Delicious cakes, cozy atmosphere, and really lovely staff. Kids area out the back if you need it

Theare was only VEGAN OPTIONS, meaning that the choices were very limited and it was just taking out food on a meat/vegetarian dish. Bit of a shame.

Amazing visit. Accommodated my family and a pram down in the family area. Staff were amazing, so helpful and lovely. Have recently had to drop dairy from my diet due to my newborn being intolerance and they were very helpful and polite in helping me navigate the menu and make adjustments in the kitchen to accomodate! I live on the otherwise of town but would go back for sure!! Very kid friendly. Thank you

Great food. Reserved table so no queue. The restaurant has chairs and stools. Unfortunately all chairs were taken so we only had stools but the staff did find a chair for my 85 year old mother which she really appreciated.

I made a booking for Mother’s Day two weeks prior. On arrival our table was in use and we were left standing in the busy corridor waiting for someone to find us a table. After an hour and fifteen minutes we finally got our meals. Nothing special overall. It was Mother’s Day, and it was busy, however the service was horrible! Never again

Great little local cafe. Nice quiet spot - good coffee and fresh cakes. Would recommend the booth at the front or a table outside on a sunny day.

Great service and lovely staff. The freak shakes where amazing and I loved how much effort went into them. I’m just a bit confused because I booked a table and it said it went through but we got there and they didn’t have a table for booked for us. So we were lucky we could even sit down if we weren’t allowed in it would of been a letdown. Overall highly recommend. Great for a gathering with your friends.

Pre zoo lunch with medium size kids. Although they have a “family space” we chose the more civilised front cafe which was a much calmer experience. Great menu and quality of food and fabulous vibe for us as “city starved” adults. Attentive service from a great waitress. We went at 2pm and felt quite rushed to get out the door by 3pm from some other tired grumpy staff which was a shame although understandable. Would definitely return though

Booked the night before and my table was ready when I arrived for breakfast. The potato cakes were magnificent as was the coffee. Definitely will come again.

Food was delicious. Service was impeccable. Only issue was the 2 hour limit to seating time. We were having a once a year Christmas catch up with friends and needed longer - luckily the manager organised to keep us seated to enjoy our coffee and cake xxx

Quick, efficient and friendly service in a lovely atmosphere. We were there for a meeting on a busy Saturday morning and were not big orderers, but we were not rushed..

Welcoming, attentive staff. A range of dishes to select from- all well presented. Parking can be problematic but worth the walk. Would recommend to others.

Food was delicious and the play area in the rear is great for the kids to play with toys. The service was friendly and prompt. We will be back again.

Very accommodating of a large group, great for babies, let us split the bill, got our tricky orders exactly right and served promptly! Definitely recommend.

A consistently good experience whenever we visit Miss Marmalade. Shortish menu, but good options available for breakfast/brunch/lunch and a value for money wine list. Highly recommended.

A bit surprised by the attitude of the staff towards the kids. Advertised as kid friendly & a great space out the back for them, but staff seemed quite put out.

I really enjoyed my visit to Miss Marmalade today. The food is fresh and tasty and i am impressed that vegan and gluten free options are available. I prefer to eat meat free meals and the selection is very appealing. I found the staff to be friendly and attentive. Will be visiting again soon .

Fantastic quality of service and food - just a little long on the amount of time it takes for the food and drink to get to you, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

We sat out the back, as we had 4 kids with us. Staff and food amazing. Awesome to be able to catch up whilst the kids were entertained in the kids area.

Food always nice but service is so bloody slow. Even for coffee, know Saturday mornings are busy but legit wait for coffee is poor. 45 minutes for food not really good enough either.
