More about Mon Komo Hotel, Redcliffe

Taking inspiration from Caribbean hotel resorts, Mon Komo Hotel is the place to go to get that holiday feeling, without even leaving Brisbane. Situated on Marine Parade in Redcliffe, Mon Komo Hotel’s beautiful beachfront spot couldn’t be more fitting for enjoying a Caribbean meal and some exotic cocktails. Head to on over to Restaurant Caribbee at breakfast time for some eggs benedict, waffles topped with berries and maple syrup or the the breakfast pizza, tuck into a sandwich or a gourmet burger come lunchtime, or go for the Jamaican-spiced Darling Downs lamb rump with sweet potato, kale and bacon mash served with spiced onion relish and jus, the Grand Canyon garlic prawns (Moreton Bay tiger prawns with confit garlic, creme fraiche and linguine), a succulent steak, or the signature seafood tier in the evening.

Besides Restaurant Caribbee, Mon Komo Hotel offers a chilled out bar and terrace area – Cabana Bar & Terrace – where guests can enjoy casual Caribbean cuisine and cocktails paired with stunning views across Moreton Bay. Try the Hombre (El Jimador tequila, Licor 43 and Passoa passionfruit liqueur with hints of lemon, apple and vanilla) or, for something sweeter, order the Lemon Cheesecake – just like the dessert but in alcoholic form and served in a martini glass! Our waitress Nelly was wonderful, I can only hope that next time we book a table that Nelly will be waiting on us if i could score Nelly for her fast, friendly service between 1 and 10 i would score an 11+. I hope that your other waitresses are just like Nelly if so Mon Komo will go a long way as waitresses and waiters and kitchen staff and chefs are what make an excellent establishment, and with Nelly that has shown us that it would be a pleasure to return.
