We had the tasting menu which was wonderful The service was friendly and the staff were knowledgeable about the wine cocktails and food Buzzing atmosphere

The food was absolutely delicious. We had the kingfish rose which was super fresh with the fish just melting in your mouth, the crab & uni nachos which were light with the just amount of spice, and the lamb which was well cooked and beautifully fell apart and had the most amazing sauce. Teamed with Happy hour between 4-7pm, it was a fantastic meal! Would highly recommend!

Can’t wait to go back! Amazing food and great atmosphere to have some drinks before dinner at the bar. Kingfish sashimi was incredible. It had a rose flavoured sauce on it. Yummmmmmm

Table service was great. Only one small glitch as the cocktail waitress struggled to make a dirty vodka martini. She got there in the end!

Great experience. Best sashimi & sushi platter ever!!! Staff were great - friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend a meal here. Next time I want to check out the courtyard out the back.

First time to Morris Jones and it wont be my last. Food was amazing, such unique flavours. Staff were excellent also. The venue has a great atmosphere.

Been here numerous times before but found the new fit out cold and empty for a Thursday night . The noisey front section is the same and the back sections is all high uncomfortable stools . Cocktail was great but food was not as good as the old menu . Sorry guys a real disappointment .

Fantastic food, however, disappointed that the "Trust Me" menu did not include any dessert. Every restaurant where I have had the "degustation" style menu has included dessert. My wife and I were very surprised as we paid a combined amount of $150 just for the food.

I've been coming here for a couple of years now, and I really like the new fit out plus the food is also of a very different style but much better. We loved dinner and the wine list is a great match with the food. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing. I truely love this restaurant. The food was spectacular and so was the service! Very friendly and approachable staff that were able to explain every dish on the menu.

We’re just back from Japan but nothing was as exciting as Morris Jones degustation! We had to ask them to stop sending out these exceptional dishes- there was sooo much to eat. Love the new interior too although the new high chairs in the rear dining room were too challenging for my elderly guest so we opted for the front dining area which proved very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Good fun vibe all round. Tasty modern innovative Japanese sushi rolls. Not too pricey. Very popular and crowded on Saturday night. Will come back again.

The food was good, but not anything special that you would expect from Morris Jones previous reputation. We were seated in the front section, but unfortunately next to a table of 16 people, the noise was so loud we couldn't talk. Although the menu is designed to share our larger plates came out first (More of a main meal) then all the dishes arrived within 5 minutes. The wine list that was always extensive has now been reduced to a page or two and the wine that i chose was out of stock. We were asked at the end of the meal do we have any more dishes coming, a restaurant of this standard should know what we ordered and not ask the customer. I was so disappointed that we will not return This was one of our favourite restaurants that we have visited 50 plus times in the past. Its a shame when something so good changes.

The ambience of the place was nice however the service was quite average. Drinks had to be ordered well in advance as on many ocassions we found ourselves sitting their without drinks waiting for the next round to come with a lengthy wait. We had to keep hailing the waitress/waiter down as they seemed to avoid eye contact so that you wouldn't disturb them. I also think pricing for drinks was quite steep.

Never had a bad experience here - always beyond and above my expectations! And the new menu - exceptional. Thank you for such an incredible dining experience.

the food was very good. the wine list was ridiculously expensive. when you see wines that are 3 or 4 times what they cost, this will deter me from returning cant understand why they dont get smart about this issue
