If you’re looking for the flavours of Indian cuisine with a bit more elegance than the norm – and you want to escape the hustle and bustle of central Sydney – then look no further than Mother India in Middle Dural. Here, Executive Chef Raj Gupta and his team create beautiful dishes inspired by all of India’s various regions and cultures. Surrounded by peaceful farmlands on Old Northern Road, Mother India has a relaxed atmosphere and it’s popular for weddings and other functions, though at its heart it is still an intimate eatery to enjoy a romantic dinner or family gathering. The menu covers a huge range of meat, seafood and vegetarian options, with some traditional Indian desserts, premium liqueurs and sweet dessert wines to finish off what is bound to be a lovely meal at Mother India.
A delicious selection of dishes shared between 5 of us. A few new choices and some of our favourites along with the friendly service made for another great meal.
Awesome😆 the staff are extremely friendly and helpful , the food was amazing and we had a lovey valentine's dinner accompanied by live vocals, definitely would recommend 😀
We have been to this restaurant so many times and keep coming back. Food is great, service quick and staff courteous. A few curries are cashew nut based , which may put off people who have nut alergies and in the veg section if you take that away not much else to chose from. Portion size is good. Having said that the taste of every dish is unique and how it should be. All in all a great place for dinner and the best part is they are consistently good. The drive to the restaurant through glenhaven and dural is part of the experience.
