We brought our friends on a quiet Sunday night. It's by far our favourite Japanese grill in Melbourne. The food was predictably wonderful. Best quality meats and beautifully prepared. Always friendly and attentive service. It's great to know that some restaurants are able to maintain a standard like this.

Our visit to Nobi Yakiniku was fantastic. The server was incredibly kind, patient, helpful, and fast. The atmosphere was very relaxed with a lovely vibe inside the restaurant. The food was well priced and very high quality. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely come back again to try other menu items. Highly recommend coming at a quiet time (we came at 5pm on a Wednesday) and having a quiet restaurant was lovely. Thank you for the wonderful meal :)

The food and service were exceptional. We had to bother the waitress on numerous accounts asking assistance for photo taking and she didn't hesitated at all. We had a wonderful experience.

First rate night, thanks. Only suggestion for improvement would be to have some sort of Japanese music. The music which was playing was like ambient music for a hotel lobby or an elevator.

Love Nobi so much, food is phenomenal as is the service! We have moved suburbs and still come back and the team remember our order ever time - it’s the little things and a favourite date night of ours!

Great little spot in South Yarra and the menu was good. Only disappointing things was: 1. Wagu Tataki wasn't available (even though it was a recommended dish) and 2.Oyster wasn't fresh (as part of Chef's special set). Other than this the service was excellent and overall meal was very good.
