Panda & Co in Perth’s Highgate, is not your average café. With a chic and modern design complete with hanging plants and pandas from the roof, this Asian inspired café has locals obsessed. Owner Andy has taken Australian breakfast classics and infused them with his own personal twist, like grandpa’s seven-hour slow cooked pork belly, which is literally his Granddad’s secret recipe. With items like the breakfast bao, reuben rollie pollies and ice cream surprise, there is a crazy dish for everyone. Catering for dietary requirements, Panda & Co also offer nut milk, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and nut free choices. Located on Bulwer Street, this Asian-Australian hotspot is unpretentious, yet inspired and you’ll be sure to make it a regular.
Staffs were super attentive, helpful and friendly! Foods wise was average this time round compared to last, because of the items we picked. The pork belly pao was a bit dried lacking of sauce; french toast was more like a toasted brioche rather than bread coated with egg. Breakfast puffs were tasty but nothing to rave about. All in all it was a pleasant experience
It was a great experience. Staff were extremely busy. Coffee is unique. It's a shame about the Singaporean Chill Crab Pasta. It doesn't taste anywhere similar to the Singaporean tast... Other than that, it was great.
