Decorated with vintage French posters and traditional white table cloths, Paris Go brings some Parisian elegance to Rathdowne Street. Francophiles will be more than satisfied with dishes like the Moules au champagne (fresh steamed southern Tasmanian mussels with champagne sauce) and the canard a la montmorency (confit leg, roasted breast in port with red currant and wild baby figs), while seafood purists should try some of Paris Go’s prime oysters. Of course no French meal would be complete without a decadent dessert and we recommend trying the pouding aux figues (fig pudding served with rum and raisin ice-cream, topped with butterscotch sauce) or the classic crème brûlée. For a little piece of France in Melbourne, book a table at Paris Go in Carlton.
Really impressive French restaurant. We had a great seat by the window and were impressed with the staff who were never intrusive, but always on-hand when we needed something. The food was superb - every course was a real pleasure. We got the exact experience that we were after and will definitely come again.
Great food and drinks. The staff were so overwhelming with their service. I would recommend to anyone to go if they want to try some authentic French quizine.
This is a favourite of ours as the food and service are always excellent. Again, this time they did not disappoint. Highly recommend Paris Go.
We enjoyed the food best quail and duck my husband has eaten staff friendly happy to explain menu will highly recommend to friends to go
Paris Go is an old family favourite. We go there regularly on our own and with friends and family. Food is ALWAYS outstanding with daily specials to compliment a great menu. Service is welcoming and friendly. Great wines available, but we feel confident to BYO if we want to, knowing we will be looked after very well indeed. Highly recommended by empty nesters who eat out regularly. Pat
Perfectly French atmosphere, excellent service and superb food! My husband enjoyed speaking French to all the staff and they were thrilled to hear that he loved seeing all the prints decorating the walls were places like the Moulin Rouge. He worked as the principal dancer in Paris for 7 years! We couldn’t have chosen a more fitting restaurant to celebrate my husbands retirement which included his working life in France 🇫🇷 Thanks for a beautiful evening.... we’ll be back! 🕺
We've been coming to Paris Go for many years and have always received excellent service and the food is always excellent. Frequently take friends to introduce them to one of our favourite places
Constantly consitent quality. Paris Go never fails to deliver quality. You can't go past the black truffle omelette for flavour and the Eye Fillet and bernaise sauce and chips is outstanding.
We had a delicious meal at Paris Go on Saturday night. Warm ambience, excellent young staff, extensive wine list and a good choice of vegetarian dishes, which is often not the case at French restaurants. Highly recommended.
A wonderful meal, friendly informative 'french' staff. Restaurant was busy on a Saturday night and we were booked in at 6.30pm . Food choices were very good. Suggestions: No side plates for bread, french wines were a little over priced, toilets need a 'good' clean. Entry door areas could be cleared of rubbish and tiles cleaned. Would definitely go again when in Melbourne, but hope to see these improvements. Regards Simon (Perth) email@example.com
