Sydney’s western suburbs are loaded with cafes and restaurants where you can start your day the indulgent way, but very few of them can match the setting and chameleon-like capabilities of Parramatta Park Cafe. Situated right by the Parramatta River on Byrnes Avenue (inside Parramatta Park, unsurprisingly), this elegant establishment feels like it’s in the middle of the countryside, not just across from Pirtek Stadium. Part of the Parramatta Park Event Centre, the cafe can suit anything from a solo breakfast to a lunchtime meeting to a cocktail function for almost 200 people. Whatever the occasion, the food is reliably delicious and suitable for all types – kids, those with eating allergies, vegetarians, carnivores, coeliacs, sweet tooths or anybody in between. Parramatta Park often books up early, so it’s wise to reserve ahead of time.
A lovely casual cafe/restaurant with yummy food and great service. Very picturesque in the middle of Parramatta Park and great for bike riders with plenty of space.
