Located in prime position, overlooking the harbour of Port Phillip Bay, the Pier 41 Melbourne menu focuses on Australian cuisine that matches its stunning location down to a tee. Meaning you can expect to find a range of freshly caught seafood, locally sourced produce and a carefully curated wine list that compliments the food just perfectly. With both indoor and outdoor dining spaces with views of the moored yachts, Pier 41 makes for an idyllic meal with family, friends or that special someone. This is one of our favourites and we highly recommend you book a table and head to Nelson Place as soon as possible. You won’t be disappointed!
Melbourne is buzzing with plenty of restaurants, but when you find one that’s overlooking Port Phillip Bay with a menu brimming with all your favourite modern Australian classics, well, a booking is essential. Pier 41 Williamstown is relaxed and casual with the dishes on offer that will leave you feeling all kinds of happy. We recommend kicking things off at Pier 41 Restaurant with a few starters to share including the signature lamb tacos filled with pickles and mint sauce; the lemon and pepper calamari with lime aioli and the Port Phillip Bay scallops served with cauliflower puree, corn salsa and maple prosciutto. Feeling hungry yet?
Then it’s down to the main event for Pier 41 Restaurant. We’re talking pan-fried barramundi served with crushed Kipfler potatoes, spinach and a truly life-changing lemon-butter sauce; the cut of black Angus steak grilled to perfection with fries and watercress salad and the moreish slow-cooked duck leg with carrot puree, fennel salad and fig and Madeira jus. There’s also crab linguine pasta and the fresh catch of the day to contend with, so let’s just say you’ll be spoilt for choice at Pier 41 Restaurant Williamstown. Located on Nelson Place, this Australian-style Melbourne restaurant is a favourite for very good reason.
3 large groups (9-14) but only 2 working both bar and serving made it hard to keep up, some food when served was not hot, some post dinner coffee drinks needed reminding of. Otherwise a lovely time, will be back but not sure how strongly would recommend to others
