Then it’s down to the main event for Pier 41 Restaurant. We’re talking pan-fried barramundi served with crushed Kipfler potatoes, spinach and a truly life-changing lemon-butter sauce; the cut of black Angus steak grilled to perfection with fries and watercress salad and the moreish slow-cooked duck leg with carrot puree, fennel salad and fig and Madeira jus. 3 large groups (9-14) but only 2 working both bar and serving made it hard to keep up, some food when served was not hot, some post dinner coffee drinks needed reminding of. Otherwise a lovely time, will be back but not sure how strongly would recommend to others
