About Royal Crown Indian Restaurant

You couldn’t imagine a king without a crown, and you couldn’t imagine the Perth neighbourhood of Mount Lawley without Royal Crown Indian Restaurant. Eschewing the baroque frippery in terms of decor allows Royal Crown to invest more luxury in each and every dish, which is why popular dishes like the mixed tarkari, jumbo samosas, palak paneer and all-time classics like butter chicken have such a huge fanbase among local curry connoisseurs. What’s more Specialising in both Indian and Nepalese cuisine means that Royal Crown is truly a prince among restaurants, straddling the Himalayas to bring you high-altitude cuisine that’s vertiginous in its diversity and flavour. Located down Lord Street equidistant between Mount Lawley and East Perth stations, trekking to this restaurant is easy, so book ahead.

Bit of a wait due to a busy evening and only one woman waiting on tables. The food was excellent, very tasty. I would visit again

Nice food, pleasant helpful staff. Only first world problems = Booking system needs updating for diner starting times. And only menu needs updating as well.

This restaurant is in a location which seems isolated as it's not near any other restaurants, cafes etc. However it's worth giving it a go - our party enjoyed the evening.
