Salt Meats Cheese - Cronulla

We were actually so blown away by SMC Cronulla, perfect location and great food, what makes it extra special is the service...such a friendly attentive team.

We booked in advanced, arrived early and waited 45min for entree which was ordinary; small portion of calamari lumped together in batter. They recovered well by complimenting the meal with free dessert and didn’t charge for entree.

100% would recommend to anyone! Food is amazing, great service, and great drinks

The food was excellent. We tried the arancini, calamari, chips, caprese salad, seafood pasta and a nutella pizza for dessert, and they were all delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend. Great for families too.

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, drinks and a wide ranging menu. The service wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was passable! Their pasta and cheese boards are better than the pizza in my opinion.

Thoroughly enjoyed the flavours. Service was good. We dined early and I think that helps. We shared four entree dishes and a bottle of wine all of which was very satisfying and light on the stomach.

Pleasant staff the restaurant is a renovated old bank which has good atmosphere. The food is a good variety of pasta and pizza and other choices

feed was excellent. Service terrible, had to wait for drinks and then had to wait 20mins for the bill, we tried to get someones attention multiple times with no luck. No one asked us if we wanted coffee or anything. A real shame as the food was excellent.

The restaurant is stunning and my friend and I were excited to try it. Sad to say our experience wasn’t very good. We got asked for food and drinks when we first arrived. We were there for two hours at 3pm on a Saturday (not peak time) and never got asked how we were going or offered anymore drinks. Not to mention the antipasto plate was very disappointing.

Lovely environment. Staff were lovely, good position, food was delicious, couldn’t really fault anything except my sparkling water was forgotten initially. Will definitely return again.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff , good food . The only issue I had was I booked for 5 , and was given a table for 4 , with a seat added at end in a walk way which everyone kept knocking me . Quite irritating.

Pizza and pasta are the go to’s - excellent The rest is nothing special and overpriced $10 for a glass of tap pure blonde smaller than a middy is unreasonable

We've had dinner in both circular quay and cronulla on mutliple occasions and absoloutly love it!! Super friendly service and the food is devine!! Seriously can't keep us away :p

A bit noisy no place for romantic dinner wine however was very reasonably priced. Food ok however ambience not to my liking.ok if noise not an issue.

Food was good although Queen Margarita pizzas are better but the service is BLOODY TERRIBLE. Far too many young waitresses and waiters who have not been trained properly and no senior managers present. Only reason the restaurant it so busy is because its the newest and latest place in Cronulla. As soon as something else opens it will lose its following because the service is so bad. Very disappointing.

Food was excellent, service was terrible. Standing next to the front desk for over 5 minutes with staff walking past not even acknowledging our existence. Had to wave down the bartender for drinks as the waitress disappeared and never came back to us after our food was served.

Food was nice. Location is excellent. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient. We went to enjoy the food and decor which did not disappoint.

I have been to other Salt Meats Cheese venues but this was our first time at the new Cronulla location. Honestly, this was probably the best one I have visited. Everything was fantastic, from the atmosphere to the food but the best thing about our experience was the service. It was seriously exceptional. The staff was relaxed, friendly but very attentive at the same time. They really made our 8th year wedding anniversary very special. Thank you so much to all the staff at Salt Meats Cheese, Cronulla.

The restaurant itself looks impressive however the taste of the food and the service fail to live up to expectations. The food looked nice, but had absolutely no flavour. Hard to get any attention from wait staff. They had to move us half way through our evening as they had a booking error and were promised free drinks but never got them. I left feeling hungry and quite disappointed overall.

Slow service and forgot to bring out my ordered drinks. Last time I went I also waitied 1.5 hours for my food which they also forgot toppings to my pizza.

We ordered a GF pizza, GF pasta and salad. Food was very nice. No complaints. Service was also good but we did eat during an early evening dinner when the restaurant was only a 3rd full. Overall was very satisfied

This was our second time at this restaurant. All guests enjoyed their lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Good food. Good service. Good location. Should have worn my sunglasses because those huge windows let in the afternoon sum. That's not a complaint though.

Great service, lovely food. We could not complain at all. From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff where happy to help with any questions and all staff member where smiling. That will be the first of many visits for myself and my family. Thank you.

The restaurant is renovated beautifully. The service is slow and not very attentive at all we had to keep trying to flag down wait staff The pasta is lovely but servings quite small For the price. Also the salads/sides menu was quite disappointing

Great food and reasonably priced, friendly and helpful staff. Only small complaints are short delay in waiting for our booked table, and could do with a wider beer selection. Would definitely go again.

Our group had a delicious dinner and the waiters were super helpful, even when one of us spilt and broke our drink! They brought us a new one even though we had almost finished. The decor of the restaurant was also heaps vibey.

Highly recommend! Food and service was fantastic. In and out in under an hour and had a great time. Will be back again soon !

Excellent experience. Staff and meal wonderful. We will be back. Interesting menu. Can recommend salads, pizza and Ragu. I should also mention aperol spritz was icy and awesome! Thanx guys . Merry Christmas .

A bit underwhelmed overall. The location is good and the decor very appealing but service very ordinary. Have NEVER been served a bottle of wine without even being asked if she could pour a tasting amount first or offering to pour a glass for whoever was indulging..... no mention of the specials or comments of discussing or questions about the menu....very plain overall. Bring flair or conversation to the table to ensure patrons will enjoy their experience...!!!

Pizza was very nice, good selection with amazing anitpasto to boot. Friendly staff and great weekly special. Something happening throughout the week. Good list of cocktails as well.

Along with the atmosphere the food was de-mmm-licious and all the wait staff were so very pleasant, easy going but yet still polite and professional👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The food was well presented and very tasty. Service was fast and staff were helpful and friendly - even coming outside to find us to return an umbrella left behind after leaving. We were there for a work function. I have already recommended this establishment to friends.
