Great food, great service. Only shortcoming was no toilet for patrons, you have to use the public toilet across Beaufort St. Other than that we recommend Sama Sama.

really great value venue for a casual meal. satays and spring rolls for entree are among the best in Perth and the chicken and cashews and pad thai were great as well. Massaman and red curry weren't brilliant but not too bad anyway. Might go back to the rendang next time. I will be back again.

Tasty & Fresh Food at a very reasonable price. Good neighbourhood restaurant. Friendly service and the food came out fast. Good for a quick dinner before a show.

The food was very ordinary! This is not much better than just a cafe. The cutlery holder on the table is absolutely naff! The service was minimal.

Arrived on a Thursday night and the restaurant was full. Food was really great and it was the 2nd time I ate there. Highly recommend the hokkian noodles and their iced tea.

Very cold in the restaurant which was not very comfortable. Food was average for the price. Freshly cooked & hot. Staff wasn't too friendly. No smile no greeting. No table service.

Food was very tasty, however spring rolls were cool in the centre and needed to be heated a bit longer, but even though would go again.

Absolutely delicious & generous Malaysian fare! The venue is not the most comfortable and kinda plain but the deliciousness of the foods made up for it! Love love love the $6 roti canai with curry sauce! So tasty at good price! Rare price tag in Perth food scene

Great little Asian diner that for my first visit was an absolute pleasant surprise. Serves are not big but the cost isn't either. The satays were magnificent and some of the best in Perth.

Very delectable foods & authentic Malaysian cooking! Generous serving with big flavours! The rice dishes, e.g. nasi lemak, sambal fried rice come with 2 pieces of fried chicken drumsticks. Staffs were nice, highly recommended for casual dinner when you seek for great Malaysian/Thai foods.

Food is not too expensive. Not much service, need to order at counter n pay personally. Parking is easy. Curry chicken expensive, only 1 piece of meat with some potatoes not worth the price

Beautiful fresh food and the Roti was so yummy . The only thing I would suggest is to start table service. It brings that little bit of comfort and style to the customer. Will definitely be back

Excellent food and service. Reasonably priced. Fried kway chow is my favourite, very authentic and not too greasy. Enjoy with a glass of iced kacang.

Don't waste your time and money, go somewhere else. Food is very bland and small serving sizes compared to similar Thai or Malaysian restaurants. Had to pay $2 corkage for a can of beer, not cool! This place wont be around for long.

So excited to hear of a new Malaysian restaurant in the neighbourhood and Sama Sama is definitely on point!! We tried the laksa, pad Thai and Roti cenai to share between two and it came to a mere $31!! Aside from the super cheap price the meals were AMAZING and very authentic!! The menu has a good selection of both Thai and Malay and super keen to come back and try the rest. Definitely recommend it for some cheap but delicious food!

The chicken with rice was very average, no seasoning done to the chicken. It was a bit overcooked and hard. The rice was too clumpy and therefore was able to finish it. The salad was great. They need to understand what customers are looking for in a cafe style experience.. engage with the customers. give them fresh exciting flavors.

The food on the menu is very cheap, but the food on the plate is very meagre - mainly coconut milk and spice mix with one or two bits of over cooked meat and very little veg. You order at the counter and pay at the counter. Poor but cheerful service

Food was delicious, prepared quickly and was a very reasonable price. In addition, the main staffer there was a friendly and informative guy. It was easy to find a table, and we sat outside with a nice view of the Mt Lawley street.

My first experience here, was quick, easy and delicious food. Recommend the Roti Canai, perfect way to start off and I have some amazing noodles, went down well. The service was very quick, decor and atmosphere were inviting and just an enjoyable experience.
