A flying fish could make the jump from Beckenham Junction station and Tramlink stop to Sea Salt, a specialist seafood restaurant that draws droves from across bromley and London. This is a high-class eatery, with starched tablecloths and silver service standard, a large function room catering from 15 to 30 guests with a range of set menus, including the exquisite seafood set menu which is the perfect showcase of what Sea Salt can do. The a la carte lunch and dinner menus are stunning, and this Southend Road kitchen can even turn the British Sunday roast into a maritime affair.
The food was great and the service was fab too. I would highly recommend the skate wing as it was cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back soon.
Went to Sea Salt with family for a birthday lunch. Food very good, staff welcoming and service very good. Would certainly recommend them to friends and will be going back soon.
Went here with friends as had been recommended by several people, honestly could not fault anything, food, service and atmosphere fantastic. Will be going back.
The staff where attentive and polite, the service was fast and the food was served hot and was amazing! Definitely would recommend this restaurant to a friend.
I went to Sea Salt for dinner on a first date; it was the ideal place for a first date. The experience is like sitting in a front room; we had a table for two; table clothes and napkins pristine white and beautifully presented. The waiters were very attentive. The food was excellent full of flavour, and salad was really fresh and crisp. I am looking forward to going there again, probably on another date(lol) if not with friends, as I have been singing Sea Salts praises since my experience
This was our first visit to Sea Salt and we were very impressed. The restaurant was pleasant and light, we were seated around a round table, which was good as everyone could see everyone else. The menu is very varied and there really was something for everyone. All the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The wine was perfectly chilled and of good quality. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. As two of our party have restricted mobility, the fact that we could park at the back of the restaurant was an added bonus. We'll definitely return, and are delighted to be able to recommend this excellent restaurant.
I treated my visiting Norwegian friend to a dinner at Sea Salt. She had the Monk Fish dish and I had the Mediterranean Cod dish. For side dishes, we had Avocado Salad and Basil Potato Mash. For wine, we had Rioja and Pinot Grigio. Excellent food and ambience. This was my second visit. Will definitely go again.
Visited Sea Salt for Sunday lunch with a visitor from Canada and family and we had a wonderful meal which we all enjoyed. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the atmosphere in the restaurant was good. Would recommend it for a meal at any time of the week and I will certainly be going again.
Despite living in the area for many years this was our first visit. Not being a massive seafood person I'd always dismissed this restaurant. However passing it midweek we saw adverts for its Sunday Roast so decided to give it a try. Wasn't disappointed. The crumbed brie started was large in size, well presented and tasted excellent. My wife's Prawn cocktail starter was also well received. We both had the beef for mains and that also was fantastically presented and tasted fantastic. (Was too full for pudding although our fellow diners choices looked great) Great service, good atmosphere and excellent food. We'll be back.
Sea Salt consistently offers superb service and excellent food in a cosy and retro-type setting. With friendly and attentive waiting staff and top-notch and high quality dishes, you're guaranteed excellent value for money and a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended Beckenham restaurant, one of our absolute favourites!
