Whether its for a few low-key drink with friends or a romantic rendezvous, Sydney’s Speakeasy Bar provides the perfect backdrop with its dark art-adorned walls, comfy vintage-style furniture and cosy vibe. Step inside this little Curlewis Street joint and you’ll instantly feel at home. Pursue the carefully-curated list of wines sourced from around the world, and pair your glass with some small tapas dishes like the slow-cooked sweet aromatic beef with a side of pickled beetroot and rough rice, grilled halloumi with tomato, preserved lemon, sumac and fresh herbs, or house-cured salmon with an apple, radish, fresh herb and fennel salad. A favourite among Bondi locals, Speakeasy Bar can get busy – to guarantee a table, making a reservation in advance is recommended!
Beautiful little restaurant in Bondi, food was great and service very friendly. Couple of specials available, early Dinner special and Sunday roast. Well priced. The waitress Denise was amazing. Highly recommend it
We have been 3 times, I mostly never want to go back to restaurants! Food and service are really good and decor is lovely. Highly recommended
Loved it. Intimate atmosphere. Wonderful food cooked with passion and love. Superb wine list accessible for all. We will definitely go there again sometime soon.
This has to be my favourite restaurant in all of Sydney. The ambiance is fantastic and food is always delicious. The menu changes often enough and the service is great. What's not to love.
this is the perfect place to have a relaxing catch up with friends in a small and intimate place with good food and a good drink
Food was delicious as always. The service was just really slow. Had to ask for water 3 or 4 times, waited too long to order food in between entree and main.
Always fantastic wine here, but the service was not very warm or welcoming. A little rude actually. We also got hit with an unwarranted 10% surcharge without any warning....it was a slow Tuesday night! Might move out casual catch-ups else where.
Good food but the restaurant was a little understaffed so I could see a few tables suffered average service. Friendly place, worth a visit still
