Stones on the Lakes is not your average restaurant. This North Lakes restaurant specialises in premium steaks, ribs and seafood with a slight twist – they are a hot stone restaurant, where diners cook their steak to perfection at their own table. Hot stone cooking is the ancient Mongolian method of cooking your meal on a 300-degree hot stone, and is a natural way of ensuring your meal is cooked just to your liking, and guests have been going crazy for this innovative and unique restaurant. Located on Endeavour Boulevard, just half an hour north of the Brisbane CBD, we’re pretty sure you’ll fall in love with this classic Australian-style restaurant, so why not book a table and find out for yourself what all the fuss is about?
Food was excellent but vegs went cold while meat was cooking, would have been better if I had ordered the salad. Noise level was high, only because a large group were talking and laughing very loudly but at least they were enjoying themselves. Overall a different and enjoyable experience.
It was our first time here and were pleasantly surprised by the Stone cookery that we used to cook our food delicious
Good food, good atmosphere and host. Good night was had by all our group
