Great food , great service and karaoke was so fun

We booked for 12, but ended up with 14. There was no complaint from staff. And they accommodated us without a problem. The food was great - maybe a bit pricy for a piece of steak, but good none the less. Being a Friday night it was busy. But then the karaoke started, and it was so noisy we couldn't speak to each other anymore. So rather than hang around for a bit longer we decided to go elsewhere. I understand that it's part of their normal night, so no complaints. Would just be great if the dining area was separated from the karaoke bar.

The food service was extremely slow. One of our table had an entree and the rest of the food was an hour after the entree was served. It didn't appear that they were that busy!!!

Excellent service! We ended up having 6 more people arrive and venue arranged a bigger table at short notice! Food was amazing- topped off with my teenage kids able to sing karaoke until 9:45 Family friendly!

The staff were quite rude as i booked table to watch fight and then they announced that the fight was on in beer garden as karaoke was on and then had to move and try and get a table the staff were not very accommodating one lil man with an ego as big as him after the lady asked the great staff saxon or jaxon to move tables long ways in front of the screen to allocate more seats but then made us up a table on the other screen when i asked the little guy he said they can't move the tables good luck with that and walked off and continually giving us filthy looks they staff are rude on the floor except the one guy saxon i think his name is came in last week for diner and he was also very great at his job. Obviously when i booked the table it was for the fights think i should have been told that this was going to happen. Food was a bit average chips not cooked through.

I was able to book a table for 8pm with just minutes to spare. I had a Bruschetta and a 300g Angus Rump Steak with chips and salad and peppercorn sauce. The food was fresh, excellent and delicious. The staff were friendly and courteous. I would recommend them highly

This is the second time we have been here. Staff are so good, food excellent and hotel is very clean.

Bar service was atrocious. Rude and dismissive. The restaurant service was average, just not overly inviting however it was saved by the fantastic lady with long plaits, she was superb. The food was great and good value. On the fence if I would go back due to service.

Always enjoy going to SJ’s for dinner. Food and service is always great the only negative thing is the giant tv that is blindingly bright.

Good food served in a timely manner. Entertainment with the trivia night that was on. The 50% off all menu items was an added bonus.

They have advertised half price full menu? But what they have done is changed the menu and it no longer has there most expensive cuts of meat nor there salmon Fakse advertising, well not really as they have a temporary different menu which is all half price That sucks because expecting the full price normal menu..

The staff are always friendly and helpful. Great place to take kids with the playground and plenty of space. Food is great and served quickly.

Having kids is tough to go out sometimes but knowing there is a play area makes it so much easier. A very easy night out.

It was $15 burger night, we all had a tasty burger and were very happy with the food and the service.

This is our favourite pub to bring the kids. Saturday night was really busy and we wouldn’t have got a table without a booking.

A fantastic family pub. We all enjoyed our meals and sat in the beer garden near the kids playground which was great fun for the kids!

Reserved table not set for the correct number of people. Sauces were put with the wrong dishes.

Excellent food and quality and awesome family environment for kids! Service was also great.

The atmosphere was good, child friendly and the table was spacious. However, the steak I ordered (scotch fillet) was a bit chewy and dry unfortunately. It was also noisy as they had a footy game on screen, live music and the children run around at the same time. The live music was quite enjoyable.
