So, what’s the menu at The Balmain Hotel all about then? As we said above, it’s inspired by Southern American and Asian cuisines and is home to a whole host of seriously enticing dishes. We recommend kicking things off with some starters to share, like the spiced squid with chipotle aioli; crispy fish tacos and The Balmain baos filled with five-spiced pork belly, cucumber and Hoisin sauce. Then, if you’re after a main at this Sydney pub and bar, we love the chicken choy bow (which is like san choy bow with a unique South Asian twist); grilled salmon topped with pomegranate, fennel and watercress or the classic chicken parmigiana topped with smoked ham. Delish!
