About The Corner House

If you’re winding down from a beach day and find yourself in need of some restorative carbohydrates after all that surf, you must pay The Corner House on Sydney’s Bondi Road a visit for some Mediterranean munch. Their comprehensive menu encompasses slow-cooked roasts, seasonal specials and classic wood-fired pizza with brilliant fresh and locally-sourced ingredients. Further Information

Located at an old Bondi Tram stop, The Corner House on Bondi Road is a seriously cool spot. Part cocktail bar, part pizzeria, part Mediterranean eatery, The Corner House ticks all the right boxes whether you’re looking for some chill eats after work, a special celebration in their stunning function room, or you’re just heading out for a few drinks. Opened in 2010, Anthony Kaplan and Brent Mills had previous experience from running establishments in Australia and New York before they set their sights on The Corner House as their new project, and it’s clear that they’ve brought their skill and expertise to this new location.

The first thing that strikes you upon entering this Sydney hotspot is the cool interiors complete with salvaged railway wood, acid-distressed steel floors and retro industrial furnishings. No Bondi bar is complete without a bangin’ cocktail list, so you’ll be glad to hear that you can get more jugs of sangria, Coco-Locos, and Amaretto Sours than you can shake a stick at at The Corner House. But what about the food, says you? Their Mediterranean menu has pasta, oysters, pizza, charcuterie boards, flatbreads, steaks, salads, and plenty more to choose from so we would advise going with quite the appetite, and people who like sharing their food! So, that’s your next night out in Sydney sorted then...
