The Greek Place

Can’t find any faults in our first visit to The Greek Place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic and the portions were generous. Will definitely become a regular to this great restaurant.

We dined at The Greek Place on a Tuesday night and found the food very good. Our meat platter for 2 was a very big meal which we could not finish and luckily we could take the rest home to enjoy later. The restaurant is Very noisy and we found it very difficult to talk to each other. Apparently they are working on this issue. Attracting the attention of staff was also difficult. Tunnel vision is a problem at a lot of restaurants. Hopefully some of these issues will improve in time as a good Greek restaurant in Eltham should do well.

My moussaka was the best I've ever had. The dips were plentiful and very fresh as was the bread. My other guests loved the zucchini fritters.

Amazing food & great service - Gary looked after us for the night & he was fantastic. We will definitely be returning & recommending to family & friends.

Went there on a Friday night. The staff were very welcoming food was amazing we got the meat platter and the meat was so tender and the marinate was yum.

This was our second visit, excellent variety of great food, very pleasant ambience and especially cheerful and friendly staff. We have booked again for December. Would highly recommend!!

Great food! Very home cooked Greek with lovely salads. Worth going back for food but service was very slow as it is a big restaurant and way too noisy. Sound deadening required as you have to yell across the table all night. Couldn’t relax!

Noisy, cheerful, aromatic. A fabulously sensory Greek experience. Beautiful food, generous serves, great wine choices. Popular, they were turning people away, be sure to book.

Great food. Good ambience with some live music. We ordered some drinks to start, and then ordered a couple of entrees and a couple of mains. All the food came out too close together as if the order was processed all in one hit. Two people on one small table with a couple of mains and a couple of entrees equals not enough space and food go i ng cold before it could be eaten. Unfortunately that was the last interaction we had with staff until we left, which is a shame as otherwise everything was good and we would have ordered more drinks and dessert. I'm not sure if someone didn't make it to work or there was many walk ins all at once, but we grabbed some dessert to go when we paid the bill (which was nice). Its worth noting that staff apologised as well and threw in a couple of loukoumia as we left and that we'd happily return.

We all had lovely meals. Nice atmosphere and service was great. We had a variety of choices to choose from and may next time try the banquet which seems competitively prices. Highly recommend taking the family.
