The Groove Train - Greensborough

Amazing service fantastic food loved it recommend the groove train if you're looking for a nice place to celebrate any occasion any time of the year.

Excellent food, great variety!!! Well priced! And a beautiful dessert menu, so many cakes to choose from. The waiter could have been a bit more friendly.

The service was fast, the food was really good and the Mrs Grey cocktails were just what we needed after a long day at work. We look forward to our next visit.

The food was great, service was good but we had to ask for table water twice before recieving it. The staff were polite and all cheerful.

The service was great as usual and the food was good. We dad the tasting plate, the dips with bread and a garlic cheese pizza.

Excellent service and food. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Calamari was devine as was the Fisherman’s basket. Excellent location - food was served promptly allowing us to make our movie after dinner. Highly recommended.

Very good Salmon pizza and Salt & Pepper Calamari. Everything was fresh and tasty. Good service and cosy atmosphere. Next To Hoyts Cinemas so location was easy.

Wait staff were very friendly, the service was good. The kids menu had sufficient options to please the children and was average quality. Good spot for a family lunch.

Quite busy when we visited, but the food still came out in a timely fashion. It was also of high quality and very enjoyable. Will return for sure.

Service was great - especially on a busy Sat night. The team were quick and friendly. The food was quite nice - I had a pasta that even for me had too much garlic and my friend had beef cheeks which she said was great. Perfect for an easy pre movie dinner.

The restaurant was happy to accommodate for a vegan diner. They gave a list of options from the Chef and when they were asked if something else could be veganised they were happy to do that. Friendly staff. A little slow after we had eaten but still very nice

The service was terrible, we had to wait 20 minutes before someone took our order and then they were rude and the food was awful

We always enjoy going to the Groove Train and our boys love their pizzas. Service last night was exceptionally good, our waiter was brilliant I wish I remembered his name!

Great friendly staff. Delicious food. Definitely book your table, they get super busy. Able to cater for Vegans (my partner) and allergies (myself). If you don't finish, you can take the rest of your dinner (and even dessert) home with you.

Nice food. Service was slow though. They seemed to be watching us for 15 minutes with our finished plates just sitting there and once taken away forgot about the kids ice cream and took another 15 minutes to bring it out. In saying that staff are polite.

Service was very slow to take orders and then food slow to come out, food once arrived was not very good, cold chips and fatty steak in my steak sandwich

The food was delicious and service was great! It was a friendly environment, aswell as lovely staff. The menu had a wide range to choose from. Would definitely recommend this place to go to for lunch!

Staff were very courteous and extremely attentive. The food was of good standard, although I would have liked less chips and more salad with my main calamari dish. Overall a great experience and would recommend others to try The Groove Train, Greensborough.

Food was good and staff generally responsive and friendly. We enjoyed the Thai Calamari Salad, Chicken Salad and Southern Fried Chicken Burger. Cocktails are also a good price so we had one of those too!

The service is always friendly at groove train. Last night was no exception! Food always comes out quickly and is delicious!! Also I tried one of their cocktails- raspberry ripple- would recommend!

my father wanted to see the new restaurant area at Greensborough Plaza and chose Groove Train for his 84h Birthday dinner its very noisy so you cannot here from one end of the table to the other the waiter took our order for meals and drinks the food came out we had nearly finished and we had to re order our drinks. Overall very bad service and wouldn't go back

Great! Nice atmosphere. Large portions. Staff very helpful and friendly. Accommodating with dietary requirements which was greatly appreciated. Glad we booked ahead as it was full by the time we arrived.

Staff were good as was the food. Drinks were average. Also a little expensive for what it is. But all in all a good place to stop for a bite before the movies.

Magnificent food; so-so service. The staff were Livy and the food arrived in a timely manner, but we had 3 different people come up and ask for drinks orders and then it took ages for them to arrive. They don't seem to have their own tables to take care of? Their system could do with some care. We ended up going to the bar instead.

Service was good and the food was nice.. Very noisy on Thursday night. Good place to go for a quick bite before s movie. Very quick with the service.

Great and friendly, efficient service, awesome food and very generous portions, kids absolutely loved their pizzas. Our new local eatery so we'll be back for sure!

Staff Friendly and meals as expected but kids milkshakes and ice cream dessert terrible, ruined the overall experience. Milkshake served in paper cup, no ice cream just milk with a drop of flavour. Not the milkshakes we expected to receive from the Groove Train, very disappointing for the children. Dessert the same, not even in a bowl served in a paper cup with a scoop of ice cream floating in topping...Yuk.

Food was nice however it took a looong time for the meals to come out . It was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly.
