Thinking about making a The Groove Train – North Lakes booking?

Day in, day out, passengers embark Groove Train for a fuel-up feed in reliably good style thanks to the group of restaurants’ solid breakfast offering, and the same goes for the Brisbane branches of the family. Begin the day at Groove Train’s North Lakes Westfield shopping centre outlet along North Lakes Drive with everything from fruit salad to triple-stack pancakes and French toast, toasties and focaccia to eggs in a dozen styles, plus plenty of the house-roasted-and-blended Groove Press craft coffee. Signature dishes at these earlier hours include the Spanish savoury eggs, scrambled with chorizo, semi-fried tomatoes, Spanish onion and olives on toasted sourdough, and The Whole Groovy hog, a big brekkie of fried eggs, Italian pork sausage, tomato, onions, mushrooms and hash browns on sourdough.

It’s just before noon when Groove Train fires up its famous all-day a la carte menu, pulling out all the stops when it comes to a fast, affordable, beautifully presented and fantastically flavourful international-style feed. Here at the North Lakes outlet in Brisbane you can get your fix of Groove Train’s so-called pastabilities and risotto dishes, including the signature spaghetti alla Groove with chicken, avo, spring onion, basil pesto, cream, parmesan and a Napoli sauce, with gluten-free pasta on offer, too. Pizza and calzones are always popular here, made fresh to order in the restaurant’s wood-fired oven and covering all the bases from classic margherita to the gourmet lamb pizza and the fiery Hottie, both favourites among loyal Groovers. Asian wok-based dishes and curries like the vegetarian wok-fried Hokkien noodles and the spicy Thai seafood curry rub spicy shoulders with Australian faves like the Groove’s fisherman’s basket with chips, chicken Parmigiana, and classic grilled steaks sourced from grass-fed Gippsland high country stock.
