A double 70 years young treat for BFFs was beyond expectations. The seafood platter is the equal, if not better, than you will find anywhere in the world. The service is friendly, efficient and welcoming. At the end of the meal we were surprised with a slice of cake and icecream complete with candle,sparkler and happy birthday sunglasses to us. Food was good. Sadly, it was very hard to have a conversation due to the noise factor.

The food was scrumptious. We started with the seafood chowder each, presented in a sourdough bowl, which was delicious and very substantial. We then shared 3 different and superb entrées. I think the standout was probably the splayed giant mornay prawns served with a plum jam, though the soft shell crab and BBQ squid were both great. We finished the meal with a sticky date pudding, which was wonderfully light and served with an outstanding vanilla bean icecream. We were next to a birthday celebration which was loud but not unruly. Lighting was just about right. Overall, I couldn't fault it. The maitre d' was lovely and all the staff were very attentive. A great way to spend an anniversary.

Friendly staff, food only ok, good bruschetta, lobster overcooked, snapper tail overcooked, John Dory bland. Good atmosphere- though very loud. Surprised at the high google review.

The food was awesome, everything on the hot & cold seafood platter we ordered was fresh and delicious. I also loved the seafood chowder and the waitress that served us was so friendly, professional and lovely. Atmosphere was great, would definetly recommend this place, we will be coming back.

Waited over 30 minutes for entree served missing the salad by the way Then another 40 minutes for mains surpassing my usual dinner cut off time, just got an apology Would've expected some sort of gesture from their part.wont be dining there again😕

We went to the lazy lobster for dinner to celebrate my friend’s birthday. We couldn’t have picked a better restaurant. The food and service was amazing, as was the ambience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They made us feel special. We will definitely be back

The service at this restaurant is outstanding. All the wait staff were kind and attentive. We did the 3 meal deal on weeknights and it is very filling so worth it. My partner loved her meal. I liked the octopus. Some parts of menu could be better cooked, but it was great to go out to a friendly restaurant.

Food took a very long time to arrive. When it did I would say the cold seafood was flavourless didn’t want to finish it. The cooked seafood was prepared well, but the sauces obviously covered seafood without flavour. The deep fried prawns and scallops were nice.

Friendly smiling staff on arrival and during the whole evening. Platter looked impressive and tasted even better. Our family used to visit Lazy Lobster regularly until it closed. So happy it’s reopened. Have already informed friends of its reopening. Thankyou for a great evening. Janet

Easy parking around the corner, warm welcome from staff, great menu & delicious meals. Wine & drink prices not excessive. Lovely atmosphere. Great to see this restaurant has reopened with a new lease of life.

Food was incredibly fresh, well presented and in abundance. Staff were extremely friendly and went over and above to make sure our meal was absolutely perfect.

We had a lovely evening. The food was great and the staff were fantastic and even sang Happy birthday with us. The only thing ( which wasnt a huge deal) was the main meals came out while we were still eating entrees which made mains go a little cold before we could eat them. They still tasted good but hotter would have been better. Will go again
