Great food, great service, reasonable priced and a great location

I used to go to the Lazy Lobster in the 80’s & 90’s and it was my favourite seafood restaurant. This was my first visit since it’s re-opened. To my delight, it is STILL my favourite seafood restaurant. My husband & I had the BEST seafood platter that we’ve ever had. The variety of seafood was fabulous, we had a whole lobster mornay and it was a great size with a lot of meat. It’s rare to get a whole lobster on a seafood platter. We had lovely wine to go with our meal & the service was top notch. They even gave us a desert as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I’m already recommending the restaurant to family, friends & work colleagues. We will become regulars.

Wow, what a place to have dinner. Went for our anniversary tonight and the reviews didn't disappointment. I see why they have so many good reviews. Service was the best we have had in years and the food was amazing. It was a very nice touch to have a complimentary dessert as it was our anniversary. 5 🌟 all the way..will recommend this place to anyone and will be back Thank you to the manager and the two staff members that made our dinner so special.

When we arrived the restaurant had a leaking roof and we were sat right under it, we had to move which we were very shocked about. The food was average, the seafood is not freshly caught it is cooked from frozen which we did not appreciate as this is supposed to be a seafood restaurant. This place used to be euro grill which had horrible food and it hasn’t changed much since renaming the restaurant. It needs repairs and shouldn’t have customers sitting under leaking ceilings.

As I said to a few staff, it's my new favourite restaurant! The food was top quality and delicious. The Seafood Chowder was amazing and the Salmon was perfectly cooked. Great value menu Mon-Fri. Oh, and the portions were generous. You get more than what you pay for. 5 Stars all round.

A double 70 years young treat for BFFs was beyond expectations. The seafood platter is the equal, if not better, than you will find anywhere in the world. The service is friendly, efficient and welcoming. At the end of the meal we were surprised with a slice of cake and icecream complete with candle,sparkler and happy birthday sunglasses to us. Food was good. Sadly, it was very hard to have a conversation due to the noise factor.

The food was scrumptious. We started with the seafood chowder each, presented in a sourdough bowl, which was delicious and very substantial. We then shared 3 different and superb entrées. I think the standout was probably the splayed giant mornay prawns served with a plum jam, though the soft shell crab and BBQ squid were both great. We finished the meal with a sticky date pudding, which was wonderfully light and served with an outstanding vanilla bean icecream. We were next to a birthday celebration which was loud but not unruly. Lighting was just about right. Overall, I couldn't fault it. The maitre d' was lovely and all the staff were very attentive. A great way to spend an anniversary.

Friendly staff, food only ok, good bruschetta, lobster overcooked, snapper tail overcooked, John Dory bland. Good atmosphere- though very loud. Surprised at the high google review.
