Great food, happy attentive staff , overall lovely place for a meal
My meal (the ribs) were fabulous but definitely on the pricey side. However I know everyone else on my table had pretty disappointing meals for the price. Menu has also reduced in size since we last came and options weren’t as good as before.

We can’t get enough of the crumbed camembert with cranberry puree; tempura chicken tenders with a tropical salsa; garlic sourdough bread and the stuffed mushrooms served with sour cream and chives. Feeling tempted to visit The Old Fig Tree Restaurant in Caversham yet? When it comes to main courses, we are big fans of the dry rubbed pork belly, crackled to absolute perfection and served with gratin dauphinois, baby vegetables, broccolini and fresh oregano jus. Whereas the wild mushroom and camembert tortellini with mushrooms, Spanish onions, garlic, baby spinach & sun-dried tomatoes in a creamy parmesan sauce is a delight for anyone not in the mood for meat.
