We four had a delightful leasurely lunch on Sunday and the food was excellent - we will be going again soon

Staff were friendly and service was great but the food was lacking.

The food was lovely, once it arrived! There weren't many people at the restaurant however after 35 minutes of waiting, I had to ask if we'r could give our order, we recieved our starter 15 minutes later which was very tasty, our main hadn't arrived after another 40 minutes. We had been there 1 and half hours and had to chase up the main course. When it eventually arrived in sweet potatoe was cold, I mixed the gravy into it and ate it and again, it tasty lovely. There were people waiting all around us for service and dirty plates were left sitting on other tables. When we went to pay (we didn't have another 40 mins to wait for a dessert) I spotted the kitchen and saw a heap of dirty dishes piled up and a bone on the floor! I can only assume they were understaffed. One toilet to service the whole restuarant also! My score is for the food and was very let down by the service.

The pork belly was not cheap and ended up being very dry and basically inedible. The mash potato with it was thick and tasteless. The gravy was the only nice feature. My husband's baramundi was dry as well.

We ordered 3 roast beef meals and the beef was inedible. Ir was tough and full of gristle. Time for us to vote with our wallet and try another venue.

Hot day so sat inside with good aircon. Tables were nicely decorated for Australia Day. Service was excellent and we had a good old roast beef and yorkshire pud with veggies, great value for $20 followed by sticky fig pudding to die for. Lovely wine, smiling faces completed the experience. One of our fave restaurants.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Best food. Really really nice venue.

Table of 4. We had a lovely lunch, staff friendly. Service very good. Unfortunately seated not far from door to service area (we chose this table) but there seemed to be an awful lot of banging noise coming from the kitchen which was quite distracting at times. Other than that we all said we would come again.

Always receive exceptional service and the surroundings are great during the week with no loud noise

The service was good and the food was fairly good. The atmosphere inside was dull and lifeless.

Service was brilliant 10/10. Very fast and very friendly The food was very plain. Nothing special and certainly not worth the $$$ charged. Sad really because you can tell they are really trying.

The restaurant was very busy and appeared to be under staffed the entrees were well presented and tasty good portions The mains were good size meals The lamb shank was cold in the middle. Everything was Ok but we didn’t leave saying we’ll beback

My husband & I both describe The Old Fig Tree as a hidden Gem. We are so glad we stumbled upon it. We can not fault the food, atmosphere or service, all excellent. We will visit again.

Ambiance was lovely. Service was excellent. Food pricing was fair and sizing good - sadly we were too full from the pasta to try the desserts, so we'll be back. The bruschetta would have been nicer with less pesto and grilled or warmed bread (it was lackluster with cold bread). The mushroom pasta was lovely, but needed a bit more variety in texture - pine nuts, slivered almonds or something with a bit of crunch?

Good, honest food with weekly specials that make it family friendly like $15 pasta night and $20 Sunday roasts. Great service, home style cooking, good prices and lovely ambiance in the evening with fairy lights and grapevines overhead.

Lovely place. Had a large group for my Mum's birthday lunch there. Food was great. Good selection of lunch specials. Great service and no cakage charge. Would recommend and definitely go again.

Atmosphere lovely. Food was generally dreadful. On a table of 12 we ordered 6 lamb shanks, which all turned out to be tough, tasteless and generally undercooked. I was the only one brave enough to return my shanks while the others stoically ate theirs (mostly because they didn't want to wait for the restaurant to prepare another meal). The shanks were promptly removed from the specials board (obviously because it was recognised that they weren't good) however only one of the shanks was removed from the bill. My review would have been a lot kinder had they made a better attempt at making good on serving sub-standard food.

Great food and service. The crumbed mushrooms and fillet steak with creamy sauce was magnificent. Definately recommend.

Excellent food, good service, nice atmosphere, will be back again

We were seated inside which was dark. two of us ordered the pasta which stuck together and tasted floury. We mentioned it and all they said was sorry. We ordered two dirty chia and they charged and extra $4.50 each for a shot of coffee on top. We ordered four pieces of garlic bread and only three came. The waiter asked if we would like more drinks and my husband ordered a beer it never came.

Lovely setting and nice food and service, steak was medium when requested medium rare but still tender, generous serving sizes, I would visit again

This place is amazing by far my favourite restaurant to go to now the food is amazing and service quick professional and friendly very accomadating
