As a solo diner, I felt like I was definitely seen and taken care of. All the food was amazing!! Wish there was an option to add a tip by card though.

The food was nice and the staff were friendly. The noise was a little inconvenient and we had to leave early because it was too noisy. May be we can try the outdoor seats next time.

3 people on 1 small table left us very little space to put the food. Food was solid but not spectacular. Felt like they just cared about getting people in and out to make a profit and less focussed on our experience.

aggressive reception when checking in food flying out of her mouth. Angry unhelpful and refused to believe I had a 5pm appointment. Demanded to see the booking on my phone first. 4.56 pm and then told me to come back. Unfriendly, unhelpful and genuinely angry. Stunning food though. Never had a welcome like that ever !!!!!

Despite the very large number of people dining tonight, service was impeccable and food was the best yet - absolutely delicious and so very fresh. Congratulations everyone!

Love that it’s byo. Helps to keep the price down. I’d rather pay for their great food ( and service) than overpriced wine.

Food quality had drop comparing with last year when I was there for dinner. I am refering to those meat, it was dry and very salty. i am not sure if you have precook them and meat was not hot too. when I was there last year, the elderly owner were there. food was excellent. PLEASE follow his instruction and advise, i would love to go back for that quality of food.

Love this place. We have been a number of times, but this time, was with a group, half of whom had never been before. Food was tasty as slways and enjoyed by all. Service was prompt and though it was a little noisy, we have no complaints.

Firstly: - incorrect food was served and returned; - the falafel order was forgotten about, and only came later - all small compared to our last visit; - the chips were third grade, all small off-cuts and resembling french fries, nothing like the big famous (some say notoriously good) big chunky chips in Jihad's day; - Corkage was attempted to be charged for three bottles, even though we only opened two; - A credit card surcharge? Since when???? Since their opening night, Jihad and his son Christian never charged one (yes cash was kin=g there for a bit). This is only recently new and a sad reflection of the new owners. I have been eating at The Prophet since it opened many moons ago, some would say decades. Unfortunately, it is not the same as it was under the direct stewardship of Jihad and Christian. The staff have changed, as has the ownership. The family feel and the "love" of the food have been replaced by some overt economic model. Sadly, this has not been reflected in the quality of the service or the meal portion sizes, all of which have suffered - the plate of falafel was tiny compared to only a year ago (photographs on my phone don't lie). Whilst some naysayers will call my review BS or critical, I would humbly but rebut and say that they never experienced the grand old days of The Prophet when Jihad was behind in the kitchen, both cooking and keeping a stern control of the cooking team, whilst at the same time making every patron feel special when he walked the restaurant floor asking how everyone was and if everything "was OK". Sadly those days are gone, and whilst The Prophet may still hold appeal, it is a far and sad cry from what it once was... Goodbye, old friend....

Great food, great people, great atmosphere. It was a little loud so I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic dinner for two but a lovely place all round. We’ve been before and will definitely go again!

Was undecided between good & okay. Doesn’t have the same atmosphere as before & some of the food was cold. Very rushed.

Great flavours, and a good variety of meals to choose from, plus very helpful service. Everything is reasonably priced, great to see the restaurant so busy on a weekday night.
