Located at the shop houses along Bukit Pasoh Road, The Reading Room is an idyllic space where lovers of books and bar-goers can exist in a perfect harmony. The perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Singapore, why not pop in for a morning coffee and eggs benedict, or bring your friends for a long and lazy weekend brunch, or maybe an intimate dinner for two in the evening is more to your taste? Whatever your preference, The Reading Room is the ideal choice! Bookings are essential.
The service was good and the service staff were friendly and were able to tell us more about the items on the menu so that we knew what we were ordering. Food was also good!
The fried portobello was not available so we tried the fried button mushroom and fried calamari which turned out to be delicious too . Friendly staff
Great ambience. Food variety has improved since the last time I visited 3 months ago. Reading room is my go-to place for a quiet meal or when I just want to chill over coffee and books
Great atmosphere and if you like novels, the wall of books here won't let you down! Thumbs up for their smoothie too. However the sandwich we had wasn't so satisfying - the bread on the top was a bit too hard and the bottom one was greasy.
We have the burrata & wine. Both were really good. Service person was friend though seems he is not very familiar with their menu. Ambience was good for a quiet evening. All was good until a group of 4 came, they were talking too loudly.
Nice cozy venue with cool decor however the food was just ok. My friend's bread was so hard that you could knock on it as it was impossible to chew but they were apologetic and changed it to their fish and chips which was way better! The price vs the quality of food doesn't justify.
Friendly staff who assisted me with the booking. The app is easy to use and especially good since I have a big group, and this place which is popular,
environment is nice with good ambient, as well as quiet corner, comfy chair and sofa set provided. but the height seem not really synch with the table, a bit difficult to eat
Nice place to chill out on a weekend they got plenty of books and an interesting interior. The cafe is a little warm
The place is very pretty, but a little too dark. The menu was surprisingly extensive and dinner set was value for money. Worth the visit.
