Great variety and fab atmosphere, and the food is delicious!

The food is some of the best you can find in Melbourne. Worth every cent.

Food was okay but the vibe was horrible, no music, waiter trying to take away food from our table and wasn’t even finished. Would not recommend and would not go back

The American BBQ is to die for! Best chicken and ribs I’ve ever had, hands down!

It was alright. Expected more from the quality of the BBQ meats. Pork ribs were dry and brisket was like boiled meat and grey instead of pink.

Service was terrible. Food took over an hour to come out (other tables ordered after us and received food before us). Waiters were rude and unapologetic. Half the meals were cold (clearly been sitting out the back for a long time). Ordered a side that never came out then charged for it on the bill. Beef brisket $27 for a tiny amount of meat. Never ever returning. Very disappointing...

Had the all u can eat and it was great

Disappointed as travelled more than 30 mins to get there. Wanted us to sit outside but when we said we’d be gone before 6pm we could stay inside. What’s the point of having a booking? The whole time we were there, there were plenty of free tables. Food not as good as previous visits either so that added to disappointment. Unlikely to go back.

Cute cafe/ restaurant, beautiful food although a little on the pricey side but it’s definitely not something you can whip up yourself the flavors unbelievable so definitely paying for that part

It may not be the cheapest place to dine, but it’s not badly priced, especially considering the quality of the food and the awesome service.

Meals and service were excellent . Beef brisket portion was a little small for our son but was still very tasty. Will be back and order larger size meals for hungry teenagers!!

Friendly wait staff, reasonable wait times for how busy the place was. Sadly though in my opinion the food wasn’t worth the $$. 3 tough, chewy pork ribs for $34 was a bit much, Brisket loaded fries were tasty but the “brisket” tasted more like plain steak that had been cubed it didn’t even taste smoked. Was a bit of a let down as the food looked great and smelt amazing, perhaps just a bad night? Not sure we will go again though.

The beef ribs were out of this world and the smoked Mac and cheese was one of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The atmosphere was true to its name, a cafe - which really doesn’t suit the low and slow style of food we went for. That paired with screaming kids was a bit of a let down. Good thing the food was amazing.

Overall I was quite disappointed by the service at third wave cafe. I had made a booking for five people at 6 pm in great anticipation as I’d heard great things. I invited some friends from out of town with hopes that a table would be ready for me on arrival as I was trying to impress them. Upon arrival the staff made me wait and then struggle to put a table of five together, service was slow, staff forgot our cutlery and seemed unfriendly, overall the food itself was very good however a bit overpriced I would like to return but I’m worried that I will be made to feel unwelcome again

The food was super tasty, service friendly and we certainly didn't leave hungry. The decor was just a little basic, but we'll be back.

Poor table service, took almost 20 minutes for someone to come to our table just for drinks, then when they finally took our order the drinks took another 15 minutes... so it took over 30 minutes to get a beer!! The food was nice but not worth the $20+ For a single burger that doesn’t come with any sides! They were an additional cost?!! We were basically shoved in the corner and forgotten the only time the waitress came to our table was to take our order and bring our food, no follow up for another beer or deserts, nothing, pretty piss poor effort guys I have been following you guys on instagram for ages now and was really looking forward to eating there.. massive let down.
