Third Wave Coffee Burgers BBQ

Excellent food and a great atmosphere definitely going back again! Large portions so bring your appetite. The red sangria was awesome highly recommended! Thankyou third wave for a delightful evening

The food was tasty but the ’deboned’ Ribosaurus Po’Boy still had a few bones and cartilage left in there, not to mention the drink that was out of date. The hospitality was very poor, the waitress had a cold and was clearly miserable, she kept wiping her nose with her hands and touching utensils and drinks. Next time stay home from work when you’re sick, Thanks for the germs!

Unreal food and fantastic service! We had the all you can eat American BBQ on Tuesday. Those beef ribs are to die for! We will definitely be back in the near future.

Great food, outstanding service! Really enjoyed this American style BBQ. Had a selection of meats and sides, highly recommend the Oink Balls! Service was the real highlight, the wonderful waitresses were accommodating and easy going, made it a really great experience.

A bit of a let down. Food was very average. Husband had a burger which was alright and I had the ribs which were pretty expensive for what you got. Two out of the three ribs on the plate were mainly thick unedable fat and the meat that was on the plate was actually really dry.. Wouldn’t go back.

Great food and great service. Only downside was being charged $3 per head cakeage for my father in laws 88th birthday for 10 people. A little disappointed after spending almost $400 on food and drinks on what appeared a pretty quiet night for them. Would definitely go back though for that American BBQ fix.

Food was great, and was a good way to experience American bbq that I'd never had before. Staff were friendly, although language was a slight hassle. And website menu and pricing, different to restaurant? Making for a bit pricey for what you got.

Food is absolutely phenomenal, the staff is friendly and attentive. No long wait for food which always wins extra points. Will return to try everything on the menu. Beef ribs slid off the bone and the chicken wings went well with the beer battered chips.

Unfortunately our second time at Third Wave and we wont be back. Believe it has changed hands since we last visited. Service was extremely slow, constant confusion with wait staff and orders. Sadly it was obvious they were all new and struggling. Hoping that the food would be worth the wait and sloppy service, once again disappointment. Brisket was dry with no flavour, chicken was very dry and tough. The burgers on other tables looked great, however our meal and service were bad enough to purchase alternative food on the way home that evening.

Always great food and service. Ordered Dino ribs, oreo shake, beef brisket, three piggies, coleslaw.... all great. The winner for me was the Dino ribs and the coleslaw. If I'm to be fussy the oreo shake was a bit sweeter than what I would normally have liked. Great feed as always.

The food was absolutly amazing. The staff were great. The only downside i had was it was hot inside so maybe another airconditioner may be a good idea but apart from that my party and loved it.

First time dining at New Wave, a great cosy place which lived up to our expectations with an extensive menu and great tasting food, so we will return!

Had a table of 9 and everyone loved their meals. Great attentive service too. The only complaint is how they print their bills. When it came to split the bill it was very confusing on how to read the receipt.

Fantastic service and food was amazing!!! We loved the corn bread, beef brisket and pink balls! The key lime pie was sensational We will definitely be back again!

Food quality was good, so was the serving size. We didn’t have to wait long for our food arrive. Will come back to try their other burgers!

We had the all you can eat BBQ Tuesday. it was huge, great quality and the staff were very flexible with our choices which is rare when you have a buffet. 100% recommend.

The food was delicious as always and a food coma always follows. The hardest part is choosing what to order and then when you see meals being delivered to other tables you get food envy and think I should have ordered that. They were busy but very accommodating.

Brisket didn't have a smokey flavour. It tasted more like boiled meat with no flavour. Stale bun with cheese on top also wasnt great but picked veggies were nice

Lots of menu options, generous portions and very tasty food. We went as a group of 8 and our food came out quickly, all at once.

Disgusting payed for the 800gm Pork Ribs and they were mushy like baby food almost certain they'd been microwaved absolute waste of money. Chips and onion rings sub par. Got asked if I'd like another drink once in 2 hours. Pancakes the highlight but wouldn't go just for these. Will never go again rather starve. If I could give a 0 I would.

Great food, good selection of both food and drinks on the menu, reasonable pricing, was $77 for two including drinks and the staff are very friendly

I was looking forward to trying the third wave cafe. I travelled 3 hours and the trip was completely worth it. Brilliant staff, very nice atmosphere, and phenomenal food. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

Big disappointment. Meat was over cooked. Our waiter was very easy going and always had a smile however the other guy at the counter showed he didn’t want to be working. I wouldn’t go back. Third Wave Cafe have lost their passion for smoked bbq and the American ways. Thumbs down.

I’ve never had a bad experience. Staff are always polite and the food is amazing. One of my favourite places to go out for dinner.

Best ribs in the world! And we should know! Went to 49 countries in 2017. Australia has the best meat, and third wave has the best ribs. In. The. World!

It was good, iv had a lot better American bbq before. Service was fast and the portions were big but it would be unlikely that I’d go back

Food was good. Service was lacking... very slow and didn’t check on us or remove our plates for about 15 minuets after we all had finished. They weren’t busy so it couldn’t of been that.

Loved the all you can eat meal that I shared with my partner. The ribs were amazing! Had the dessert pies as take away and ate them by the beach which is a short walk.

It was fantastic. Food was very good as was the service. It was a little hot inside though. Air-conditioning would have been nice. Other than that we were more than happy.

Looking at the pics on the website the meals look nothing like it. Ribs and chicken were dry. The best part of the meal was the loaded fries.
