A classy yet laid-back environment awaits you at Thyme Square Cafe on Hornsby’s Florence Street. We recommend stopping by during the morning hours for an unbelievably tasty breakfast. Serving only artisan breads and coffees and using organic ingredients, Sydney’s Thyme Square takes quality very seriously. Try the poached egg stack with bacon, rocket, roasted tomatoes and sourdough bread, or go for the grilled halloumi drizzled with lemon juice and olive oil. Got a sweet tooth? Get the Thyme Square buttermilk pancakes served with maple syrup or berry compote and ice cream (yes, ice cream!).
If you’re someone who tends to skip breakfast, the lunch and dinner options are also excellent at Thyme Square. Vegetarians, make sure to take the pumpkin and spinach lasagna – this hearty dish packs in all the flavour of a classic lasagna, just without the meat. Health nuts are encouraged to order one of the hefty sandwiches like the (gluten-free) Thai prawn salad or the chicken caesar. Thyme Square’s chefs whip up a mean milkshake too, in flavours like caramel, banana, strawberry and chocolate. Despite the casual vibe, a reservation in advance is recommended for this popular cafe and restaurant in Sydney’s Hornsby.
