Excellent local restaurant with good food and friendly staff too. Always look after you very well. The Mac and Cheese is a left field idea I would recommend.

More about Vino e Cucina, Paddington

In Sydney’s Paddington, Vino e Cucina on Glenmore Road brings traditional Italian cuisine to the forefront, offering food that’s sophisticated and full of flavour. Led by experienced restaurateurs Michael Bengtsson and Julia Walker-Bengtsson – the same team who brought you the beloved restaurants Eat Thai and Tuk Tuk Bar – the folks behind Vino e Cucina are passionate about sharing great Italian cuisine and fantastic service with local food lovers and gourmands.

After being impressed by the great service and the charming atmosphere inside this Paddington Italian restaurant, you’ll be delighted with the many delicious offerings on the menu. Share delicious antipasti like arancini di riso (crumbed rice balls stuffed with provolone and porcini), polpette della nonna (homemade meatballs with Napoli sauce) or a classic caprese salad. For a main course, go for the spaghetti carbonara, the risotto with saffron, prawns & zucchini, or the hearty costolette di maiale, Tuscan balsamic-glazed pork ribs with a zesty cabbage slaw. There’s plenty more where that came from – make sure to book ahead when planning to dine at Sydney’s delightful Vino e Cucina.
