Wagyu One

First time trying the AYCE menu at Wagyu One. Good variety of choices and generous servings. The staffs are very attentive and friendly. Price was reasonable as well. Overall, a very happy dining experience.

Poor customer service ever. One of my best friends recommended me to them. I took my family menber to enjoy our Sunday dinner there. 8 of us, we drove 45mins to our dinner but never had that disappointed! The food was great worth the price $85 per person but the staff aren’t friendly at all. Would not be back and no recommended for anyone else. The staff needs to be trained properly before they start working. What’s the reason to be that rude to your existed customers? One of the staff - Yashayun, she selected the wrong account when we were paying with card and saying: “ You don’t have enough money in your card.” She selected a wrong account and saying that in front of all of us! Never be back again.

I went there for a birthday dinner with friend. We tried the $85/person all you can eat buffet. They offered high quality food and great service. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great food, great food, great food... and great service, I don't think there's much more to be said about Waygu One. It's my go to place for Yakiniku

The food is amazing there. Bbq always quality meats. Service great. Always on point. Great range of sake warm or cold. Would recommend to family and friends for sure

Food is OK, vibe is OK. But I think customer service could be better. We have waited approx 10 min for change the BBQ plate.

Good location and service. Excellent choices of buffet - Wagyu beef and black pork. Homemade ice cream and mochi. Awesome selection of entrees, noodles and set menus

Service needs to be better. Birthday cake was meant to be a surprise. Spoilt by staff asking if it was ok for the to charge service fee for serving the cake , right at the table when we have approved prior to arrival z

One of the best Japanese BBQ restaurant in Melbourne. Very nice big table setting with some private room options. Our server were little bit forgetful.

Great service, premium wagyu beef. Well worth the money you pay. Maybe dessert can be improved but over all the highlight is the meat. Definitely come back highly recommend

the grill didn’t work properly, so that meant thr meat took too long to cook. quite disappointing. if the grill worked properly, there coukd a a chance it would be a better experience.

Went to Wagyu One for dinner with my friend on a Saturday night. We went for the Standard Wagyu BBQ Buffet and we ate a lot! For the standard price I think you do get value for money as you get 90-120 mins to order and eat as much as you can. The service was really attentive especially with water service etc so that was great. You order off an ipad which was fantastic because you don't need to spend your time flagging down the waiter every time you want to order, so you can really go at your own pace. For every ordered dish, the portion size was great! I was expecting maybe 5-6 pieces for every meat plate but you would get at least 6-12 depending on the cut. As for the quality of the beef, it looked really good, but for a majority of the beefs, i wasn't blown away by their taste all that much...some of them were too salty or the marinade wasn't super amazing and for at least one wagyu (flap), kind of bland. For flavour i would order the LA wagyu ...that was definitely the most tasty one which we ordered multiple times!! I think i was enjoying the pork cuts more in terms of flavour. That being said, we did get the standard one so i understand if the cuts weren't their absolute best wagyu - i've been here one other time and all the meat we ordered a la carte was AMAZING so you really just have to know what to order. With the buffet you have room to try one of everything (but they do warn you that anything left over is $20 a plate!!!) Overall I would recommend if you really have a meat craving and good atmosphere, wasn't too busy and nice staff.

It was good nice ambience. Good food. Liked the new buffet style dinner all you can eat. Wine corkage is reasonable, 15 dollars per bottle

Best quality of Wagyu and good services. A little bit expensive but worth the money ! Will come again with friends and family. ! !

Amazing dining experience!! We ordered the 85 dollar buffet and it far exceeded our expectations, absolutely delicious! Staff were attentive and very helpful with explaining how the ipad ordering system worked. Bar menu extensive aswell. 10/10

Amazing Japanese bbq with many varieties of cuts and sizes. Australian and Japanese alcohol matched to each cut. Great service which showcases the friendly Japanese culture. Partner and I come here for as many special dinners as we can.

We went there for our wedding anniversary celebrations. Quality Yummy Food which melts in your mouth. Staff is very quick and friendly. We loved it. Highly Recommended.
