We had one of the best meals tonight at Alfredo’s Authentic Italian. The pesto dish, ravioli, gnocchi and Cavatelli with crab were all amazing. Star was super friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend!

Not impressed. Food was good, but not great. Service was so-so. Prices are very high and the portions rather small. I won't be back and I'd suggest giving it a pass. Simply unimpressive.

Beautiful food and attentive service . I’ve been there many times and it never fails to be lovely. More pricey than it used to be - which is why I rated ‘grate’ instead of ‘amazing’.

We had reserved a table in advance, we were greeted by service staff and shown to our table promptly. The service staff were mostly friendly, we received our food promptly and it was lovely food. There was a pianist playing some nice background music which created a pleasant ambiance. My only concern was that the tables are really close together which can create issues with quiet conversation.

An authentic Italian gem in the city. Quiet enough to have a conversation while being full of atmosphere. The piano playing in the background was also a plus

Phenomenal food all around - we all ordered different things and each one was exception (the best steak I have ever tasted). Make sure you book as even on a weeknight it was full!

Alfredo’s website says they open at 5.30pm, we thought we’d enjoy a pre dinner drink before our 6pm reservation. The restaurant didn’t open until 6pm. The owner or manager made us feel like he was doing us a favour by giving us a table despite our reservation. He was rude and gruff, the male waiter was the same. Thank goodness for a young waitress that went out of her way to help. Food was good but overall the introductory service was off putting. I won’t go back.

best GNOCCHI I've had since my Italian mother died in 2009. She hand made her from scratch and the kitchen was always cover in flour :-)

Food was ok but overpriced for what it was. Spaghetti vongole was too salty and not enough parsley.

First time at Alfredo’s. What a amazing little authentic Italian restaurant. Its cozy, great vibe, live piano music (soo good). The creamy ravioli is to die for, really!! This place has officially became our go-to Italian restaurant.

My wife and i celebrated our wedding reception at Alfredo's it was a small an intimate event with 10 people. The food was absolutely amazing, the servings were large, and our guest all commented on how lovely the food was. We will definitely be a regular at Alfredo's. Truly amazing.

I have had better Oysters Kilpatrick in many other establishments over many years. Do not order the Pork Loin; it is as tough as all get out. I will never go back there again.

We arrived as one of their first guests with a table of three booked for 6pm. We ordered within 15 minutes and then began one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We each order three courses. It took 45min for our starters to arrive, they cleared our table and then came with the dessert menus as we had to explain we had already ordered and we’re waiting on our mains. Fair mistake. It took multiple questions about where our order was, the staff went to check and never came back with an answer. It had now been over two hours since our arrival and most people that came at the same time and after us had come and gone already. After 2.5 hours the mains arrived, over cooked, soggy pasta, pheasant ravioli and limone spaghetti and veal with Marsala sauce. The veal was bare edible, so chewy and with no flavour but the Marsala sauce. The pheasant pasta was just burnt cheese with cream. And the spaghetti limone so over cooked. Neither of us finished. We didn’t want to risk having to wait one to two more hours for our desserts so we asked to get the bill. At which point the owner comes around hands me the machine and says here give us a tip. At which point I question the service we have had today. Feeling pressured into a corner I reluctantly give them a small tip and we all leave with such a sour taste in our mouth and sad for having such a ruined experience. I went to Alfredo’s back in 2008 and I fell in love with pasta because of these guys. I Brough my friends here to celebrate and honestly I will never recommend this place to anyone I know again. Not worth the money or your time. The underground bar downstairs is cute with cute cocktails, we went there before dinner as we were early. Restaurant not a great experience at all and it makes me so sad because of my previous fond memories. I felt embarrassed bringing my friends here on my own recommendation.

Well worth the three hour drive from the country into a very wet Sydney. The food was fantastic, as was the service. The piano player was a delight - glad we heard her before she finished at 9pm. Only negative is the price mark up on wine & Irish coffee @ $18.50, but to eat that food then I'll pay it!!
