The karaoke's site stated that it has a BYOB policy, which i was assuming allowed alcohol. One of the male staff who was attending to our service, stated that the wine that my friend brought should be paid for to drink in the karaoke room. However, this was NOT stated on the karaoke's site. The male staff asked my friend to show him the wine and said that we would have to pay $25 to open the bottle. Also, the screen to choose songs was ONLY in Chinese, the language could not be changed. This made it really inconvenient for my friends and I. Lastly, the microphones ran out of battery 10 minutes into the 1 hour session that we booked for. This karaoke session was VERY not worth the $65/hour. My friends were not happy with the service provided here.
Most of the English songs were Chinese because they didn’t have the actual songs and BYOB is such a rip off! $30 to bring in ONE bottle of wine
There was no aircon in the room!! It got so hot inside there and the air vent wasn’t working !!! Also after we paid and went into the room the man said “there’s a few songs not working”. When we started to sing it was more than “just a few” almost every song we selected was not working!!! So we had to keep replaying the few songs that were working for 3hrs !!! Was very annoying! After paying $500 for corkage & karaoke it was such a let down and not worth the money!!! Save yourself the headache and cash and find another place to Karaoke at.
It was awesome only minor issue with limited song choices , maybe have alcohol, but we loved it and enjoyed every bit of it thank you guys
