About Ah Beng Kopitiam

A kopitiam is a traditional Southeast Asian coffee shop, equipped with a simple but satisfying food menu and plenty of liquid refreshment. Over at Langford Village in the southeastern suburbs of Perth, Ah Beng Kopitiam is flying the flag for specifically Malaysian kopitiam traditions, with a bright, airy retro style cafe-restaurant setup located up the shopping centres lanes from Langford Avenue, and two menus touting hawker-style food like har gao steamed prawn dumplings, gua bao with pulled duck and peanut, roti paratha, rice bowls, whole spicy duck and chicken perfect to rip into with friends, and a special menu where you build up a custom noodle dish from a variety of bases and your choice of noodles, beef, chicken and seafood.

The food is not great but good service. Had the belacan bihun, can't taste the belacan. The special noodle is too salty. And the gua bao is not bad.
