Argenton Hotel

We have been to Argy Hotel previously. It is a favourite to go to. Staff are friendly, food is always good. Good prices, good for kids with a play area here as well. Recommend

A lovely pub, although it would be good if there was see through blinds on the front windows near the smoking area to tone down the outside light...way too bright!

4 of us got parmi's, cooked good but needed actual ham on it not sprinkled on top no one cares about looks when ordering a parmi 😂 also ordered a pizza was good but crust was a bit thin

Two people from our group ordered steak. One medium rare and one medium. The medium rare was blue and the medium was rare. Disappointing when paying $30 a steak and you can’t eat half of it.

Love the new conference room. Such a lovely place to have dinner.

Apart from the cold outside, the heaters weren’t the greatest, we had a pleasant night. Great food & service!

The food was excellent! I had rump steak with salad and chips, and it was delicious. The steak was "medium" cooked, and it was lovely. The salad dressing was delicious, and I'd love to have the recipe! The only problem was the noise level - it was very difficult to hear each other.

Waited 1 1/4 hours for our meals. My mother's meal was missed & my father's meal which he paid $38 for was cold & tough. My meal was bland. Very disappointing compared to the prior visit 2 weeks ago which was fabulous. But that was on a week night compared to a weekend. Should there be that much of a difference???

Meal was lovely but the dirty glass & 20mins After half the table received their meal for the final 2 meals was concerning.

This was our first meal post Covid and it was just fabulous.

First time in this pub and it looks great. They are taking the social distancing seriously which is nice to see. Staff seem friendly. Food was ok. My schnitzel was lovely but the mash was so so. I would definitely visit again.

Steaks were overcooked (asked for rare and it was cooked right through) and could have had more food on plate. Apart from that it was nice.

Staff were awesome- friendly and helpful - none of the requests I had were too much trouble, food was beautiful, good size servings and served in a timely manner. Venue was lovely and great atmosphere. Couldn’t fault them! Will definitely be back!

Another excellent meal , although sitting outside is a little noisier due to the kids play ground but not enough to bother us . Service was quick .

Had to send some food back - cold, tasteless or had hair in it. Disappointing as it’s such a great venue and the playground is awesome for kids. Have had wonderful food here in the past so hoping it was just an off night.

Better gluten free options would be good. Hot chips are so easy to be gluten free, so not a lot of gluten free options for kids

Meals were tasty but service was very late. (2 hours to get adult meals) while children’s meals were quick. Some of the adult meals had missing ingredients or substitutes.
