Bambusa's menu has many dishes which are not offered at other Chinese/Malaysian restaurants which makes it a refreshing place to go. The atmosphere is casual but smart and there is good space between tables so that it is not noisy or crowded feeling. The service is excellent. And the food is fantastic.
Prompt and friendly service on a Wednesday night with wife and son. Food was delicious. Recommend the pork loin with honey and pepper and the boneless duck. Will return for sure.
Outstanding food. Good service. Relaxed atmosphere. Try the "Peking Duck Three Ways" .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
Very tasty food that was different to the usual Chinese food on offer. The chilli chicken and spicy king prawns was delicious! Not too oily and just right. Highly recommend!
Service excellent, food excellent as always. Great choice of food e very dish cooked too perfection. Only slight problem, squid and chicken wings too salty
Great food and a reasonable wine list. Staff are friendly and efficient. The place is always busy but service is prompt. They handle gluten-free really well.
Good quality service. Nice and quick. Great gluten free options. The staff know their stuff when it comes to gluten free. Would recomend for any fellow celiacs.
Great service and food. This occasion was for a Birthday and we can say we all had a good time with the atmosphere of the restaurant
Food was excellent as was the service. Bambusa is a superior restaurant and is my favourite in canberra. I recommend it highly for the best dining experience. Thank you
Brilliant. Sensational food, great service. Wine list could be expanded, but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend for a top feed with reasonable prices. I'll be back :)
Food was lovely and service was quick, some small glitches such as not offering knives and forks (not everyone is courageous enough to use chopsticks). Good venue.
First time at this restaurant. The person running front of house was very polite and attentive. Lovely food and great service. Will certainly go back.
Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients and great range of gluten-free options. Service was quick too despite being busy. And reasonably priced too. Will definitely be going back.
An excellent choice for any occasion, and are they happy to accommodate dietary requirements. The décor is pleasant and all the staff are friendly and efficient.
Delicious food. Fast and pleasant service. The meals were very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very relaxing. When in town we will definitely go there again.
Great service and great food as always. An excellent venue to share some dishes in a relaxed atmosphere for a social or business meeting. Good stuff!
Great food, great wine and great service. Couldn't think of anyway to make it better.price was good and location was close to movie theatre. Free parking nearby on Saturday night.
As visitors to Canberra, we found Bambusa by chance and returned for the second visit that we booked. We arrived early and were impressed by the courteous and informed service. The food, which was innovative, was well cooked and very tasty. We particularly enjoyed the steamed fish hotpot and the mushroom dumplings, but the rest was very nice as well.
Food was very average. I will not be visiting again. Not pricey and service was OK but with so much choice in Manuka, food has to be top notch.
Great service and food, restaurant was easy to find. Only down fall was I never got my tea I ordered but it may have been the lady not understanding. Overall, will definely return
We went on a Monday night and the restaurant was quiet. The food was good and the service friendly. The wine we initially ordered wasn't ordered and our second choice took a little while to arrive.
The dumplings were amazing, the presentation of food was good and the service was fantastic. The atmosphere modern arty deco and the chilli fried prawns are a must try Natasha
