We went with friends for a New Year’s Eve dinner so was busy- as expected. Lovely food.

Food was ok. But mostly staff were friendly and very good with our 3 kids. very welcoming and pleasant. great views ok water and nice to relax and eat.

Entered to a very clueless waitress that didn’t know the menu nor drinks menu. Food was good but the toilets were not sanitary at all

The foods is so amazing you get what you paid for. Order is ontime. Fresh highly recommended the price is reasonable. Friendly stuff. 101 highly recommended. All what’s in the menu is fresh. Great service great foods very friendly stuff. Friends from Melbourne wants to come visit every just to eat the fresh foods that what’s in the menu. Love it very clean the best place I’ve ever been since I came into geelong for 14 years ago.

My partner and I couldn’t have picked a better place to go out for our birthday’s! We felt cosy inside, welcomed by the lovely staff and the food was AMAZING! I would highly recommend the Coffin Bay oysters.

Food was amazing! The lady providing table service wasn’t able to to keep up with the tables needs. This left us with no drinks before our meal arrived. We then asked for our drinks again and water for the table. The lady then advised they didn’t have the alcohol required to make drinks we wanted. We then received 2 out of 4 of our drinks. Meals are finished and still waiting for the other 2 drinks. We ended up asking for a refund which was given. The lady was very apologetic explaining she was ‘run of her feet’ which she visibly was. Kitchen staff then helped her.

Great views, good drinks and nice food with excellent service.

Very slow service. 2 x pasta meals ordered had no sauce.

Booked for my birthday dinner 16 people got there they didn’t even know I booked. Sat us outside in the cold half the tables were served with there meals the other half got there meals 30min later don’t waste your time at this place.

Great meal presented well and good service. Will visit again.

It was for formal dinner night with friends and the experience was wonderful. Excellent customer service

One wait staff and one person in the kitchen on a Friday at lunch time. I had booked for 6 and they weren't ready for us at all. They had to put 3 tables together while we waited. Myself and another person at our table asked for medium rare steak. Both were were very well done. One person asked for stir fry vegetables and received a salad. When it was pointed out they admitted it was a mistake and provided the vegetables in a side bowl. The waitress was lovely but run off her feet. We waited a long time for out meals because the cook/chef was by herself. It was a Friday and lots of people came in. Some came in and after sitting for a while and not receiving a menu just left. Overall very disappointed.

We went for breakfast. Great food with a plentiful serve. Service was wonderful and the view was great. Will certainly return when in the area.

Excellent service and delicious food. Very well priced and great experience overall. I had the seafood platter and my companion had the salt and pepper squid, both were delicious. We will definitely come back

The restaurant had lovely staff, service and atmosphere. However the prawns in our meal were quite overcooked and made the meal itself a little less enjoyable.

Food took a little while to come out. Odd combination of flavours in the seafood platter. Not horrible but not great. Was an odd experience.

Took 45 minutes for any food to come out, even the bruchetta which you'd imagine would be a quick and easy entree to get out so the kids at least got something while they waited. But once the food did come it was lovely, no complaints whatsoever on taste, just a long wait

Poor service and horrible food. Was not edible and had to go and eat else where. Would not go back or tell friends to either

The food was good - we had the porterhouse which was nicely cooked with a good sauce and the pasta marinara rosa which was very good but could have been hotter. The prices are very reasinable. The location is great..

Hello..I'm going to review the place we had lunch at yesterday. SoSmall cosy restaurant positioned in a great location across from the waterfront. Extensive menu to cater for everyone at reasonable prices. We were a group of 6, all were happy with our drinks (coffee, tea, mocktails) and four of us were happy with our generous sized meals (parma, veg breakfast, salad and steak).  Two had the noodle hotpot, both were with the extra hot base. Disappointingly, the hotpot was tasteless and bland, despite efforts to add flavour and hotness with pepper, chilli flakes and Tabasco sauce. The staff were friendly and attentive. Although the hotpot was a let down, we'd give it another go.
