Food and service was good but appeared to only be one member of staff in the entire building? Not sure how they would cope with larger numbers but we had a good time.
A bit of an odd place. We weren't even sure it was open when we arrived as it was so darkly lit and it was freezing inside, no heating on (but the gentleman was happy to turn it on for us). There was only one person on staff to do everything (from what we could see) - he was front of house, waiter, chef and cashier. To be fair, we were there quite early for dinner (5:30) so perhaps more staff arrive at a later hour, as the restaurant becomes busier? The food was ok but overpriced for what it was. The man serving us was very accommodating re our meals (several of our party turned up quite late so he was happy to stagger meals) and we were able to pay separately, which is always appreciated. The floor was sticky, there didn't appear to be any money in the till so the man had to go and get it out of a Tupperware container to give us change, and the toilets were a bit substandard (taps not working and no soap). Maybe we just went on a bad night.
Disappointing. Food was really average & it seems they are saving money by not using the heating. Been here many times before when it was Osteria but won’t bother again.
Did not live up to hopes - did not try pasta but veal tough and pork dry. Service was good, but we will not be back.
