Carmel's Bar & Gril

The food was absolutely great! We asked for our food to be brought out at once and we ended up waiting for our dinner for about 25mins after the kids meals came out which was about 40-45mins in total from when we ordered. I am not sure if the person who took our order misheard us or not. When it arrived it tasted great and was presented beautifully.

Food took over an hour to come out, poor service

Sadly our experience was poor tonight. Our waitress messed up the orders, forgot someone's meal altogether, food was quite average & service not great.

We had not finished our entree and our main course arrived and then again they tried to see if we wanted our mains and our entree was not finished.

We were celebrating our parents 65th wedding anniversary and they made it a little extra special which they loved. Food and service was great

It was a hot day and the fans and air-conditioning was struggling. Service excellent, food excellent. Wait time for food a bit long.

When we arrived at the restaurant for our lunch booking we were shocked to see that we were the only table booked in the reservation book. We waited for our friends to arrive then ordered our meals. The meals came out quite quickly and we had a drink from the bar. We had the restaurant to ourselves from 12 noon when only 4 more people came in later. It was a strange atmosphere but the food was ok.

Service left a bit to be desired - wine took a while to come, waitress brought salt and pepper to our table then took it away. We had to ask for it again for our main course. Meals were on the cold side, but flavours were good.

We ordered the lamb with veg....overall ok. The lamb was definitely overdone!! was a bit disappointed The chilli calamari was amazing!! Very tender.

Online booking was easy. Staff were lovely. 🤩 Not too noisy for a Fri night. Food was plenty. Had chicken Parma. Chicken & crumb were perfect. Sauce could have done with some more flavour, but not complaining. Small serve of perfectly cooked chips, & the salad was small and very fresh. No soggy lettuce. I'll certainly go back again.

Took a long time to even get a drink after we were seated, had to ask for bottle of water for table, one child's meal and garlic bread were completely forgotten. Food was ok but very slow considering restaurant was no where near capacity

The food was great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Main meals were cooked at the same time as entree, meaning by the time we asked for the meal they had been resting for 10 mins and had become dry, this service is ok in a pub but at a restaurant a main should not be started until the entree is returned.
