The restaurant was immaculate and the staff were extremely welcoming. There were many of us eating and we ordered quite a bit but we didn't have a long wait for our food. I always love coming here.

I found the service to be much better on this visit though generally it is quite okay. Had the Tteokbokki. My tip: add extra cheese for just AUD$3 extra.

My mum and I always need to come back for some bibimbap or jap chae every month at least. Would love to try something new next time, like their casserole or BBQ.

Nice restaurant with plenty of parking in the Waterford plaza shopping centre Food is delicious with generous servings I had the pork bulgogi which was really nicely cooked with side dishes of kimchi and bean sprouts Didn’t like that I had to pay an extra $2.50 for a small bowl of rice though

Food taste good but the price is quite expensive. One the female waitress was quite rude to us as she kept coming to our table to change the flame setting and filling up tissues without saying a word with flat face. She insisted that our food was cooked while the meat was still not fully cooked and she dialed down the flame setting regardless (we ordered gangnam special bulgogi).

Good to book ahead for a group booking. Lunch specials are good value and include kimchi and miso soup with some tasty pickles and u can get extra chilli sauce

We were a table of 11 ppl. Was put to the back of the restaurant and forgotten. Waitress sat us and left. Did not provide us with any menus or water untill we had to go to the front to get a waiter?! Can't get any table service at all. Came once to take an order and that's it?! Need to have more waiters especially on the weekends. Otherwise food was alright but the experience was totally ruin by the service

Tried the Dok Bok Ki casserole on this occasion and added 1 serve of ramen. Overall verdict: 3.5 stars out of 5 Plus: Suitable for colder months and perfect for sharing between 2-3 persons Negative: The dok bok ki were a bit on the soft side; the deep fried seaweed rolls were bit strange Extra half a point for the complimentary cheese

Great place to go with a group of friends. Always good food. Though they should still serve free tea at night given that there is no 'lunch menu'. Also take away is always inconsistent. Forgot soup for bibimpab, Missed out on banchan, sometimes bibimbap sauce when we do UberEats. But still very good food.

Tried the Budae (Ham & Sausage) Casserole on this visit. Even though we ordered 1 additional portion of ramen, we felt there still wasn't enough ramen to make it satisfying.

Exceptional Korean Food and would have given it a 6 if their staff smiled just that much more. Apart from that, it's one of my favourite places to have Korean food and the Jam Bong to share is wonderful!

If you're into #KoreanFriedChicken 🍗 you must have @GangnamPerth at the top of your list. We totally adored the crispy, golden and crunchy batter, along with the juicy flesh in each and every piece. I don't normally like my fried chicken drown in sticky sauce so the sweet chilli on the side was more than enough. LA beef ribs 🍖 marinated in garlic, sugar and soy sauce was sooo delicious, I'd definitely recommend eating them with steamed rice to fully appreciate the sweet and salty sauce. They weren't the cheapest things though, with 9 thin pieces costing $23. Although the main dishes were more than satisfying, Restaurant Gangnam sadly don't have the best kimchi and bean sprouts 🌶🌱. I found them both rather bland and lacking seasoning.

Tried the crab and seafood casserole on this visit. Overall verdict:- good dish to have in the winter months as the soup is not too spicy yet provides warmth. Positive: Fairly even mix of seafood and vegetables. Negative: the crab was not too fresh; having to pay additional for ramen

The food was fantastic as usual especially the Jom Bong and the Pork Bulgogi....but I would have given it a 6 if it wasn't for the mixed bag in services.
