We were greeted very warmly. I said In my booking that we were off to a concert so the lovely lady who greeted us, let our waitress know that we had somewhere to be after tea. The service was so friendly, recommendations were good. Meal amd cocktails were amazing. Will be back

Initial welcome was good and table order. However we asked for an additional side to come with the main, however this arrived after we had finished the meal, after chasing them for it on a number of occasions, plus they sent two drinks orders over? Didn’t appear to see an issue and lack of an apology. Plus meal felt a little over priced.

Food was cooked to perfection. Kangaroo steak was amazing. Seasonings and spices were great

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was the perfect place! We sat outside and people watched before dinner. The street was bustling with activity. We ordered a steak meal and the kangaroo. Both meals were delicious! The staff were friendly and answered our questions. I would totally recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

Great food, we enjoyed a beautiful ribeye cooked to perfection and a flavoursome paela. Sat outside under warm heaters and thoroughly enjoyed the live music of singer and keyboardist. We felt so relaxed and in good company. Highly recommend

We found this restaurant online and saw the review that the beef was amazing! Have to agree with the previous reviewer too! But what was good also is the ribs that falls so succuently off the bone!

It took a long time to get our food, the quality was poor, everything was cold, the steak was tough, and the seafood was spoiled. My mood was terrible all night.

Food was delicious, however waiting 30 minutes for dessert was not reasonable. We had ordered dessert at 7pm and when it still hadn't come by 7.30, I asked to cancel dessert because we have a show to attend to at 8pm. Then they did bring dessert which we had to scoff down just to make the show. Not a nice way to end my birthday dinner

Dinner in Melbourne! Tried the soup of the day, grilled octopus, kangaroo steak, and seafood risotto. Everything was delicious—especially the risotto!

Delicious dinner with a good variety of options to choose from, especially if you are with vegetarian friends (there’s a good selection of pasta that caters) while wanting a steak for yourself! Decent steak serving size as well. Staff were friendly and attentive, checking in during and after the meal. Offered an inside table when we mentioned the singer’s microphone was quite loud. Fun atmosphere as always on Hardware lane. Singer was super fun and lively, maybe a bit too loud for diners wanting to sit outside and have a conversation across the table. Ordered: kangaroo steak, linguine marinara, patritti shiraz, fruit paradise mocktail

Good service and atmosphere, good selection on the menu, food tasted good was didn't take too long to arrive. I hoped the serving size would be slightly larger, but it was OK.

Came for the kangaroo. It was fabulous. Other people in the party had salmon and a pasta dish. Definitely good too. The service was great, and every wait staff we talked to spoke French. That was fun! The drinks were good. The seats were comfortable, with a decent wait for the food after ordering. Definitely recommended.

I had searched for grilled fish and this came up. I had eaten here before and recall food was good. As I am gluten free, I asked the wait staff if they could do grilled fish, as nothing specific was on menu. She came back with “Chef said no”. So I ordered salmon with potatoes and fennel. Everything was tasty. Fennel was extremely overcooked, making all ingredients mushy. Butter sauce lacked herbs and acid.

First off looking at the menu the choices were amazing, some things on there you’d find at a top quality restaurant and other things you would find at a pub, for us it was a great mix… The pricing was great which made us a bit worried that the food wasn’t going to be to good considering they were pub prices… The entrees came out with about 10 min and they were amazing, then the mains about 15 min after that and it just got even better!! There were 6 of us eating and 3 very fussy eaters and every single person loved their food… My mate actually ate his hole main then ordered the lobster tail risotto just because he couldn’t help him self haha and that was next level!👌🏻 The staff and service were amazing to top it off!!! At the end of the day between the 6 of us we had 4 entrees, 8 mains, roughly 10 beers, a few spirits, a few wines and a couple of soft drinks and the total was just over $400. You’ll struggle to find better night out for that! That was the first time we have been there and definitely will not be the last…👌🏻
