The Groove Train - Brighton

Great variety of food choices, something for everyone especially if you are really hungry as the portion sizes are on the generous side. Friendly staff and always one of our favourite restaurants to walk to.

The problem is that not being BYO or offering a lunch special with glass of wine puts it of lesser value than (say) Botticelli or Café Florentine. It's also less relaxed than other venues and the food was just okay.

Service was quite slow, even though they were not busy. One order was incorrect and the drinks we ordered did not arrive. Food was tasty though.

I had an absolutely great time and the food was amazing, would definitely recommend this to all other. A great place to go and eat!

Great service, great atmosphere, my 13 year old loved having her birthday party dinner there and we couldn't have been more pleased. Than you Groove Train Brighton.

Great food and drinks. Also great friendly service. We have come here a couple of times and it is just wonderful. The points that go on your card is a really good idea. The cakes and hot chocolates are amazing.

That was a nice and kids friendly environment, great for family dinner or catch up with friends who has kids. Yummy food and nice staff

Food was great - the serves were generous and the daily specials were good. Beverage service was a little slow but good range to choose from.

We had a 12.00 booking welcome was good but then had to wait 40 minutes before any table service. No one asked if we would like to order a drink before this, food was nice, temperature was good.Definitely require more serving staff before we would consider going back.

The night was great, attentive staff, food was tasty and of good size proportions. A little loud as the restaurant seems to be more oriented towards families.

Quickly upon arrival we were led to a table of 4 upon me stating i had a booking.Prompt care by serving staff.Food and drinks most enjoyable and, unprompted staff provided birthday cup cakes for Dad(89) and his son (60).No question I would like to return soon

Groove train was large enough to hold my group of friends, and the setting and atmosphere allowed us to have a relaxed, fun night out. Portions are HUGE, which explains the pricing.

Service from all the staff we encountered was first class! The meals were a very generous size and delicious. The meal delivery, from the time we ordered, was very good.

The sevice was very good particularly the friendliness of the staff. I find the marks to be slightly overpriced though and on this occasion one of our pizzas has a burnt crust.

Very Ordinary service, avoid public holidays 15 % surcharge, no other restaurant does it I will not visit this again Can't bring your own wine

Good was good, service was great. But the tiramisu was mostly cream however staff changed it for a lemon tart without problem and that was great

The food was great, and big servings at reasonable prices. Probably the best I've been to out of the franchises. Definitely will be back again.

Excellent service & great meals, although there was rather too much food for us. Next time, we'll order smaller meals so that we can try the desserts!
