Tuesday lunchtime. The food arrived promptly, it was hot and spicy and delicious. I prefer a quieter restaurant so it would be interesting to hear the noise levels when its in full swing. 3 course lunch for 4 & a toddler was just over $200 including a soft drink.

It was ok. The waitress wasn’t very friendly, but the food was nice. The staff were obviously waiting for us to leave as they were mopping the floor and putting up chairs while we were still eating.

Atmosphere was good, location near the waterfront is pleasant too. However, the food was way over priced for the small portion sizes.

The service we received was fantastic.the food we received wasn't great.tge table was not cleaned very well and the chairs were covered in food and drink which i had to wipe with a napkin before sitting..i ordered 3 vegan tacos, two were supposed to be jackfruit and one was with beans .. all of them were beans and tasted like something from a can and the tortillas were all soggy and stuck to the plate..my partners Burrito was mostly rice and a few sad veggies in a soggy tortilla wrap.mother in laws fish taco was barely an entre size with a tiny portion of fish inside the mex chips were excellent and so were the cocktails. Incredibly Disappointing considering the money we spent that evening. We have been many times to the sister restaurant in Pier Street Altona and Always had a phenomenal dining experience. Not sure if we will be back to visit the one in Geelong any time soon.

Staff were great food was tasty, we had an issue with one meal which was rectified really quickly with a great discount to the overall cost which we appreciated!

The drinks were good but the food tasted like it was straight out of a can. I had a burrito and there was a few slivers of lettuce in the whole meal. The best part was the extra guacamole. It’s a beautiful location but the food was very disappointing.

Delicious cocktails, yummy food and great service with an amazing view of the Geelong waterfront. We all had a great night.

Our visit to Hechos was lovely! We particularly liked the birthday song and churros for our friend which made her birthday special :)

The food and atmosphere were great but we found that we had to catch the wait staffs eye to receive service. This was from the time we sat down until we ordered dessert. Not once did they come past and ask how everything was, did we want another drink. We always had to wave there was often two or three standing at the counter, we would understand if it was super busy but they were not run off their feet when we were there.

We booked a table for dinner after a show. We have been before and the food was so fresh and tasty. Food was great on this visit also, and the service was great. One thing that takes away from the otherwise great experience is the volume of the music playing in the restaurant. It was close to offensive. We had just seen a great show, and couldn’t have a discussion about it without literally shouting to each other across the table. Really hope they can fix this, as I probably won’t return unless I sit outside. Save the volume for the nightclubs, please.

The food was delicious and service great but the happy birthday singing is very loud (especially when babies are present)and disruptive. A discreet greeting at table should suffice. Everything else is great and atmosphere cheerful.

It was a little noisy. Maybe the staff should could have been a bit more consistent, it seemed we had a different staff member several times and a drink was forgotten.

Great food, lots of choices, it has an excellent vibe and the location is close to a wonderful ocean bay view.

Noisy. Unable to split bill. Not going back again. Huge surcharge.

Loved our visit today. One dish was a bit spicy (a heads up would have been nice) but it was still delicious.
