I loved visiting Hecho en Mexico in Geelong! First of all, the bottomless brunch was a great option with good tacos and drinks, especially margaritas. In addition, the staff were very attentive and the place is very pleasant with an amazing waterfront view!

Food was mostly good, some items were too spicy to finish, but we were warned so that's on us. Lights are far too bright for a dinner restaurant. Service was non existent. Had to ask for menus, flag someone down to order and for more water, looked up the menu online to order dessert. Plenty of staff around with not that many customers, but did not seem to be customer focussed at all.

The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. We were served quickly, wait times were fast and the experience was great overall. I would definitely return, and recommend others to go.

We love the fact they have a vegan section on the menu that is truly enough to pick from - not just 1 or 2 afterthoughts. We had the vegan chili nachos, jackfruit tacos and the tofu fajitas which were all delicious but the standout was the fajitas! Service was smiling, friendly and quick. We will be back!

What a fabulous experience we had. Firstly the food was amazing , it was our daughters birthday and she suggested we come here, myself I’m not a fan of Mexican by wow I am now after the food we experienced it was full of flavour the most traditional Mexican I’ve experienced, I’m definitely coming back. Staff was amazing and service was great they even sang happy birthday to my daughter. All in all a wonderful dinning experience. Would definitely recommend coming

Most staff were slack and slow, food was not up to par to what I would expect for the money spent, barely any meat in my birra taco, was also deep fried, birra is not deep fried. Won't return

The restaurant itself was lovely and bright although cold. We were greeted and seated easily. From there it was quite disappointing.. Our server was a little abrupt. The drinks took quite some time to arrive.. The food arrived. Fajitas were amazing and the size was great. The Chimchanga was a little small in size. The Burritos were missing the cheese and cream which made them a little bland.. we asked for 1 without cheese and cream but all 3 were missing those ingredients.. To charge $3.50 for guacamole for a dessert spoon full is rather ridiculous. Overall a bit disappointing. We skipped dessert and went elsewhere.

Portions were much smaller than anticipated considering how expensive the menu items were.

Great apmosphere, however, food was ok. The last time I ate Hencho was in Moonee Ponds and I much prefered their food, it was much more fresh and hot.
