A refreshing twist on traditional Vietnamese favorites. Clever cooking, quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation all added to a delightful experience. Don't miss the crispy crepe!

The food and service was nice but a bit pricey. It's kind like an up grade Vietnamese Restaurant not for everyday food only good when u want Vietnamese with atmosphere.

Food and service were both amazing. My date said it was the best Vietnamese she had even experienced. We will definitely be back, can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Good food and service .... Terrible wine list. Best option is to byo rather then hope there is something drinkable on the wine list - because there isn't

Awesome food, friendly and attentive service as always. There's just a bit of a wait even when you have made a booking but a small price to pay when you're going to engulf deliciousness.

Front of house service was really slow last night in terms of taking orders, delivering drinks, checking on our table etc. Staff seemed unapologetic but the food was really good.

The Food was great, service a bit hit and miss. Staff bit not appear to know the wine list, and on seating we were left waiting before being offered water or drinks

First found Hello Auntie on a late-night whim. Fab first experience led me to bring a friend back there last night. She was as pleased as punch. Amazing food, great service! Winning all round.

Overprized with insincere service. We ordered 3 entrees and a medium main and paid $85. Waiter pretended to "look after us" and give us a "better table" when he just gave us the next available table. Very noisy too. Food was okay.

pathetic. one of the worst meals I have paid for in years. Lamb dish had no Vietnamese influence. prawns on skewers were basic. wine was good but they had nothing to do with it?

Hello Auntie has a really nice feel and friendly staff, what a great addition to the neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our evening and the menu is great, and we especially enjoyed the more 'traditional' dishes' which were superbly cooked and presented. Awesome crispy chicken and crying beef and you can taste every ingredient in the spring rolls - yum! We'll definitely be back - thanks!!

Great food and interesting/yummy cocktail options. Family of 4 all really enjoyed it! Missed the popping candy in our desserts from the previous visit, but still very enjoyable.

Hello auntie never fails to provide a top notch dining experience. Every dish is meticulously designed to blend flavors to give it maximum impact on the taste buds. Easily the best pho in town the broth is dark, rich and mellow without even a hint of the greasiness you tend to find in other phos. The new wagyu beef dish simply blows your mind in tenderness and flavors. I have eaten a lot of quality cow in my lifetime but their cow is simply amazing. Dare I say the word kobe. Can't wait to return to try their new lamb dish. On paper it does not read very vietnamese like but I am sure it would be quite spectacular all the same.

Sensational food. Service friendly but slow - mistaken orders, things taking longer than they should. Need to streamline this - but when it comes, well worth waiting for. Best Vietnamese food in Sydney.

The best beef Pho in Sydney, no question! The staff are extremely friendly and food arrives without delay. The line of people waiting to get into the restaurant is testament to their popularity.

Great food and attentive service. The menu is extensive, and the wine list is well suited. Try the Pho with the braised brisket, it's delicious.

To start with the service was exceptional, even as we asked late about nut allergies, they were all over it and ensured our meals were exactly how we wanted them before placing them on the table... As for the food, it was " bloody marvellous " every dish was different, yet complimented each other, and the plosion of different tastes as you ate was the greatest of joys... Would I go there again? You bet, in a heart beat....

Hello Auntie is a dream come true for The Ville and I hope it's a sign of more to come. The food was phenominal and the service was unmatched. The pho - omg I can't stop thinking about it and I didn't even order it! My duck salad was great, but my friend's pho was absolutely heavenly. The whole table agreed, so we will definitely be back pho more ;-)

My favourite Vietnamese restaurant with a welcoming western touch. I particularly love their hand picked menu and personal touch of teaching you how to eat the delicious dishes. I've been twice and always look forward to coming back. Friendly and helpful staff! Definitely a must visit in the heart of Marrickville.

Hello Aunty is all the rage right now. So what's so good about it?. Fresh food. Helpful service and a great floor manager for a start. It is definitely not cheap and cheerful as most of the Vietnamese in Marrickville are but the food has moved up a notch from the average suburban fare too. The dimly lit urban space with a long bar and open kitchen is right on trend and the y quietly pump out the food in quick succession from Vietnamese gold fried chicken to crispy pancakes, rice paper rolls, soups with a deep delicious stock and stirfried dishes with a smoky twang. We paid 160.0 for 4 of us with a bottle of wine and 2 beers. I can't speak highly enough of the floor manager, she's awesome.

Our biggest letdown with Hello Auntie was the quantities! Both the food and the wine (by the glass) were very small servings. The ‘skewers’ on the starters would be better described as tooth picks! – we shared three entries among 4 people but the quantity would have only been adequate for one person, the mains were no bigger. They also messed up our order; we had to ask where two of the meals were! On the plus side the small amount of food was good, the service was very good if not a bit rushed and they did discount our bill after forgetting the mains. Sorry but we won’t return – there are too many better restaurants in the Inner West.

Excellent food and waitstaff service. Standouts were the salt and pepper squid, the special beef cubes, the school prawns, the scallops and if course the dessert.
