More about the restaurant: Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant - Victoria Park
Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant in Victoria Park is a very tranquil spot indeed. It’s probably the only place in this part of Perth where you can sit and relax to the sound of the Himalayas whilst you tuck into properly authentic Nepalese cuisine that’s been cooked with love. Right on Albany Highway, Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant is also a very popular spot, as Victoria Park locals go wild for the lunch and dinner menus that feature Nepalese classics as well as plenty of house signature dishes that go way beyond the norm in terms of what you might be used to – think curries, sizzling dishes, premium meat, fresh seafood and plenty of curious Nepalese delicacies as well. One of our favourite dishes is the chef’s special goat curry because the meat is done on the bone and is ridiculously tender. Being on Albany Highway makes this Victoria Park gem easy to access, and advanced reservations are always a good idea at Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant if you want to be sure of a table.

Start your meal at Himalayan Nepalese Restaurant Victoria Park with traditional momo dumplings, available with either meat or veggies wrapped in dough with fresh coriander, ginger and garlic and served with homemade sauce. Following on, the butter chicken is good for something mild, while the Himalayan hot chicken may just have you sweating with its intensity. For something a bit unusual, meanwhile, try the Machha ko Tandruk: fish fillets cooked in a Nepalese village-style sauce; or for a mighty popular vegetarian dish, try the Aloo Bodi Tama which is potato cubes, white beans and bamboo shoots tempered in a light, Nepalese-style curry sauce.
