Drinks were served in warm glasses. Steak was overcooked, tough, cold and mainly just grissly fat. Curry sauce on barramundi was terrible. No ribs available. Tables were sticky.

Food orders were mixed up, wrong food came out but fixed up. Food was not the best, most of us rated our food very average. However band playing was way too loud and not enjoyable.

The food was very average, the salads had something hot or spicy in them that was unpleasant, the chicken burger mostly fat and the chicken kiev was very dry crumbed chicken with a cream sauce on top, that’s not Kiev. Won’t be going back

Nice meals & a great afternoon outdoors with the kids playing nearby on the equipment. A great way to celebrate a family birthday.

Overall had a great time, food was great, wait times were a bit long but considering they had a full house I was happy to wait and they did a great job. Staff were friendly and prompt to clear tables. Atmosphere was lovely inside. Will be back for the ribs 👍

I go to holmesville hotel regularly and the food is always amazing. Always fast service, food is fresh and hot, portion size is really good, tastes amazing and presentation is amazing for a pub experience. The chef takes pride in his cooking. The environment is nice and friendly so would highly recommend

Beautiful pub with beautiful food Kids playground is a hoot

Considering it was Mothers Day, we did not have to wait long for our meal. The free glass of bubbly for all mums was lovely. All the staff were exceptional. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was Mother’s Day and the place was packed,We were met with a welcome smile and a big G’day staff very friendly and efficient, Meals were large and at a very good price served in a very short time.Bar staff were great as well. All round good outing.

The staff are friendly and the meals were well presented and very enjoyable. We live at Warners Bay but it is well worth the little drive to have good meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

We had a really good night my little family there for dinner and let the kids have a play on the new playground there the food was so fresh and was very quick to come out I even brought to of your beer stubbie coolers for me and the wife we will definitely be coming back might even stay making it a weekly night out thanks again Holmesville hotel

Good food tho very over priced. Chicken and veg, a kids meal and salmon and salad for $77. We paid the same for Italian at a darling harbour restaurant. Sitting in the dining area the smell of smoke was over powering at times. An air curtain could assist with this. Staff nice enough, a smile Could help.

Holmesville Hotel has become a new favourite for us. The meals are great quality, staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is wonderful. I do not hesitate to recommend it.

We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this traditional pub although managed to be there on an extremely busy night and the noise finally drove us out. Food is enjoyable.
