Food is good, would definitely come back again. Can get free parking nearby
We’ve been to Kedai before and it’s great value for money. However this time they were closed for dinner on Wednesday. Their usual rest day is a Tuesday so am not sure what happened. We had a redemption on quandoo so am hoping it goes through!
Food was exceptional. Place was nearly empty so do yourself a favour and support this great restaurant. Make sure you say hello to the chef.
We booked for our anniversary and stated this in our booking. We got the confirmation to be at Kedai at 6pm on Saturday. We arrived and no lights were on, no sign or information about not being open, no email or phonecall to tell us it was closed. We waited 15 minutes and realised it was not going to open! We then had to search the whole strip for another place that was free (which on a Saturday night was difficult) Very disappointed and would NOT recommend.
Excellent authentic Malaysian flavour, felt like eating at home, SEDAP , YUMMY 😋 Have already recommended to friends and family and will visit again TERIMA KASIH, THANK YOU 😊
There was a good selection of food and service was quick.
The food was reasonably priced but really quite average. Chicken satay sticks were too smokey in flavour and grainy in texture from the charcoal. Rendang sauce was definitely not a rendang, and the beef was tough. Off tasting tofu and fatty oxtail soup. Staff were friendly but restaurant doesn’t split bill, still don’t understand how that counts as “service” in this day and age. Wouldn’t go back.
It’s our first visit here on a quiet night. One of us was served a wrong meal but they changed it with no fuss. I personally enjoyed my nasi lemak but another guest felt the fried chicken could have more flavour. Would give it another go.
Rather disappointing. No chicken satay so we ordered Beef satay. It was very under cooked and we returned it. We ordered seafood Tom Yum soup but got vegetable instead. Drinks ordered was also messed up. Ordered Cha Kwey Tiaw.. it was gluggy. The waitress was pleasant and apologetic and hence the score of 2.
The ambience was alright but for the food prices, we expect a higher food quality and presentation of the food. The ambience is alright. Also the desserts are very pricey and lack of variety.
Decent atmosphere, Good service and good food. Have been looked after well. Decent price. Staff were good listeners. Will definitely go back one day soon
Great service with friendly staff... mee goreng was one of the best in Perth.... can't say the same for the nasi goreng
The service, ambience and quality of food was exactly what we were looking for and we were not disappointed. Its a must visit again restaurant
Service is amazing. Food is awesome. Kuey Tiew is yummy... satay is really good. Nasi goreng kita is chef special. Highly recommended. Carrot juice with milk is best ever...
Authentic Malaysian food was fantastic - and the friendly and attentive service was appreciated - will definitely be going back as need to try everything on the menu!
