Lavender Bistro

The guys were great and very welcoming. It was a bit noisey as we were seated near a large table of enthusiastic women. The food was very good. We would definitely return. Recommended.

The Lavender scones and jam are delicious, just wish they were a little bigger.

Had gone in a group. The menu is limited and the food is good but not something that will take me back again to the place.

Staff are friendly, high tea are good, all girls are very happy

High tea was good though a bit more filling in the sandwiches, & the desert are a bit expensive for what you get.

Noisy cafe but friendly staff. Pork cheeks w/- ratatouille v tasty. Zucchini Slice & side Salad not so inspiring. Lavender dishes interesting. High tea looked very popular

Fabulous place for a relaxed weekend lunch. Others rated the lavender milkshake as fantastic. They were right! The chicken, mushroom and tarragon pie was excellent too. Well worth a try!

Having large parties of people mixed in with smaller parties does not work as the noise is unbearable. The food was lovely and the service good but I dont think we would return.

I arrived and they had a hens party I was shown to my seat , we waited for service other people arrived and they were seated and served before us. I was recommended to this cafe but don’t think I will be back. If you know you have a group in you should cater with enough staff

I always enjoy this place for catching up with friends.The hosts are friendly, the service is great, and the setting is very bright and attractive with the wall to wall windows and lovely decor making for a delightful setting.

booked high tea for 12 on Sunday. We sat outside, which was best as it was very busy inside and the noise level was high. The 3 tiered high tea plate was packed with delightful treats. at $34 includes a glass of sparkling wine very good value.

Great food very busy. We were early but that did not seem to matter. I was a little dissapointed at there was no reserved sign on the table and where it was situated when I was shown it. But apart from that everything was fine

We came for afternoon tea. Whilst I really enjoyed my Chocolate Fondant, there was only a limited selection of cakes available - a missed opportunity for a Sunday afternoon...
