As the name suggests, this popular little restaurant is staffed by experts on all things Indonesian – we’re talking authentic lontong sayur, amazing nasi goreng or mie goreng, terung balado (deep-fried eggplant with special sauce) and grilled kondro and squid. Manise Cafe have really friendly wait staff, so you can always ask if you’re new to (or curious about) this area of Asian cuisine – though even for newcomers it’s worth jumping on the specials that Manise regularly roll out, because they always promise to be something you won’t find anywhere else in Northbridge. Manise Indonesian Eating House is great for group meals, but bear in mind that it does get busy so advance bookings are always recommended.
